From assisted living, Home Healthcare, memory care (dementia and Alzheimer's), and nursing home. I'm not CNA certified but I pretty much can do everything a CNA does. My goal is to evenually get CNA certified and get a carrer in the medical field. As a child I always had a passion for helping others anyway I could. As I got older I began working with the elderly! I am a very dedicated worker,I go above and beyond when I'm assigned to a job.Good communication skills awesome companionship.I became a caregiver because my granny became I'll and I didn't want her going back to a nursing home so I went got my license and took care of her.I enjoy helping people I enjoy being a listener and also I enjoy seeing a smile on their face when I known I made their day.I'm proud of becoming a CNA 22 years ago and I'm still able to give the love and care they need after all these years I still love my job and the work I do.

I'm a very upfront outgoing person. I've been a Certified Nurse Assistant since I was 18 yrs old. I was helping my Mom out with my Dad during his battle with lung cancer. I enjoyed giving my Dad one on one care. I cared for him while my Mother was at work. Allowing him to be comfortable in his own home. After he passed I went on to take the CNA, CMA, Phlebotomy class at Kilgore College. I enjoyed mostly the one on one time spent with my patients. Getting to know them. I've worked in Long term care facilities. Prisons, Home healths, Assisted living homes. I mostly enjoy going into the homes as a Companion. Just giving somebody the option of staying home. Helping them with all daily living routines. Allowing them to still stay active. Giving them respect, dignity. Also giving them all my attention.

I have a wonderful personality I never meet a stranger and I believe helping others is very rewarding.. I love to put a smile on my clients face.. I enjoy making them feel good about their situation.. I have plenty of patience to handle memory lose.. I also enjoy just hearing their stories, I am single and I live alone so I have plenty of time for their needs.. My personal achievements is being able to take things that I am not sure about and I study for more knowledge.. I enjoy being a caregiver and making a difference in someone 's life.

I always went the opposite direction from Healthcare while finding a career. Until I was forced to take on the role, I never thought I was the type. Turns out im exactly the type and maybe even born to do it. I have a natural ability to care for people. I see beyond the brave words and read whats really wrong with people. I love that! To gain the trust of some that aren't so easy to give trust. Its priceless.
