Hello there. I'm Gabby. I'm a very outgoing, energetic, positive vibes CNA and currently working on obtaining my RN degree licensure. I offer excellent care for your loved ones, giving you the peace of mind you need and deserve. As a single mom of three teenagers (now all 3 are in college!) I moved to North Carolina 8 years ago to be closer to my own aging parents. In 2015, Dad became wheelchair bound with Parkinsons and Mom was no longer able to care for him. I rolled up my sleeves and made the necessary renovations on my home there and moved them both in with me. I pushed pause on my nursing studies and was able to spend some great quality time with Dad before he passed away a week before Christmas in December 2018. Mom's dementia had been progressing, so I became his sole caregiver and provided for his every need until he "graduated." Three months later, Mom had a massive stroke rendering her the equivalent of a three year old. No longer able to dress, toilet, or feed herself or even articulate what she needed, I stepped up to the plate again and began caring for her 24/7 until her death one year ago. I would not trade even a millisecond of the time I was able to be with my parents. It allowed me some great moments with each of them and helped me fine tune my skills as a professional caregiver. ***I worked for 5 years as a Police Officer for the Ogden City, Utah P.D. I graduated from the Utah Police Academy. The Police Academy provided weeks of intensive First Aid & Trauma Response Training. I served 3 years in Patrol as a First Responder for all types of Medical Emergencies, Serious Automobile Accidents, Overdoses & All Criminal Activity. ***I received several commendations while in Patrol and was promoted to Detective after the first 3 years. I was assigned to the Crimes Against Children Division where I conducted dozens of complex investigations involving Child Abuse, Neglect and Crimes of Child Sexual Abuse. ***I also attended & graduated from Weber State University with a Bachelor's Degree Political Science and Social Sciences. ***I was the founding partner of Thurgood Development Company. We Developed & Built 8 major Senior Residential Projects in N. Utah from 1986-2017. I understand & appreciate the needs of seniors especially as it comes to living independently & as safely as possible. I know from direct experience that Seniors & the Disabled very much want to maintain their independence. ***I volunteered and trained 2 days per week for 7 years at Manor Care Nursing Home in S. Ogden, Utah. ***I retired from construction in 2017 but soon found myself wanting the work with Seniors again. I went to work for a Leading In-Home Senior Care firm in SLC. I underwent significant additional training and have several Utah State mandated Certifications in First Aid, Elder Care etc. ***After 4 months with the Leading In-Home Senior Care firm I was chosen as their CARE-GIVER OF THE YEAR. I am assigned as Exclusive Care Giver for 3 of their VIP's, whose names are household words in all of Utah. ***I have many references from persons who I have cared for and dozens from Seniors that I have built homes for over the past many years. I am 6'3"- 220 lbs and well trained in personal protection. My clients are safe when I am there with them.

I'm passionate about caring for others. Not only does it make me feel good & important to be making a difference in someone's life, it also brings me so much joy when I'm walking out of a client's house being thanked & praised, seeing that smile is a must or my day isn't complete . Caring for others just gives me a fulfillment that I'll never grow tire of.

I am a family oriented person. Everything I do is for my family and how it will help us progress into better people. I'm very social and have great listening skills. I keep myself alert all times when I'm working. Making sure that my workspace is safe and clean. I'm very positive and even on my off days, I try my best to keep a positive attitude. I love helping elderly people or helping people in general. I'm an LDS member and I can't count how many missionaries I've seen on the street that I've stopped to greet them and even take them out for lunch or simply to conversing with them before they go on about their day. I am actually the first person in our family to become a caregiver, and along the way my husband too, had an interest and have gained experience in that field. The thing I enjoy most about caregiving is spending time with my client and assisting them in anything they need. Over the years while my experience has developed I've learned to love each of my clients while caring for them. I do grow close to all my clients that I've worked for and I love putting a smile on their faces. I'm a reliable person and I'm very honest. I have strong communication skills and would do anything for an opportunity. I think my biggest personal achievement is becoming a stronger member in the church. Making sure that I lead a good example for my children and for their future. However, whatever offer I receive for any future clients I will be grateful for the chance that's given to me!

I loved being a cna, it was the best experience ever. it made me happy because i made the residents happy as well. i always put a smile on their faces. What attracted me to be a cna i took a class in high school we did clinics and i fell in love with it so i stuck with it. i enjoyed playing games with them walking them around and just being able to talk to them. Achievement i am proud of is always helping others before myself.

I absolutely love helping people. The older generation is by far some of my favorite people! I've grown so close to alot of my residents and I'm so thankful for the chance to know them. I love what I do:)

I have more than 15 years of experience working in the healthcare industries especially experiences in caring for seniors. I graduated with a Master in Public Health emphasizing in Healthcare Administration. I have worked at hospitals, nursing homes, homes health as a caregiver. As a caregiver, I have gained experiences in providing a safe environment and direct patient care for my patients. I coordinate therapeutic, health related programs and activities for my patients, guide and support each individual/patient with daily activities including meal planning, shopping, social activities, personal finance and much more. My professional experiences with different employers has provided me strong expertise in personal care assistance such as bathing, toileting, dressing and grooming, medication management, companionship and discussion, housekeeping, running household tasks, engaging clients in activities such as games, book reading, and light exercise. I have broadened my knowledge working with different types of patients. I have worked with autistic patients, dementia, Alzheimer's and much more. I am passionate about care giving because in our culture it is our responsibility to respect and care for our elderly.

I'm currently in the process of moving to Messa, Arizona so I'm looking for a full time job caring for a person in need. I love helping people and making them feel comfortable and taken care of. I pride myself in the quality of care that I provide by not rushing cares and taking time with patients to make sure all cares are provided with precision and dignity. I'm currently in the process of becoming a certified CNA and I have my background check done currently that I can show proof of.

I am a kind, caring and compassionate person. I have raised and am still raising 9 beautiful children. This experience has blessed me with many skills and abilities regarding care giving. I believe care should be provided in a kind, patient and respectful way, every human being deserves this. I had the opportunity to care for my aging parents until they passed. They both died from cancer. Some of my dearest friends have been and are above the age of 70. I love caring for older people because they have so much to share and I have learned much from their life experiences and wisdom and perspective on life.
