I genuinely care about other people regardless differences and challenging characteristics; I don’t judge people and give them their privacy as well as take care of them with the best care and to their liking and comfort needs. I became a caregiver because I realized I listened to peoples needs and wanted to help improve the quality of their lives. I’m good at taking orders and encouraging people to do their best, to bring the best in them out. What do you like about being a caregiver? I enjoy when someone is content with the quality care I provide them. I enjoy taking people’s health into my hands and being successful, by keeping them at their optimal health. I am proud to have become a well-informed healthcare professional that knows how to care for any individual with any kind of condition due to all my experience and skills obtained from training.

To me giving care is a calling, also I like treating our seniors the way I would like to be treated when I become one.

I am a CNA with more than ten years of experience working as a caregiver. I am a loving, honest, kind, reliable, dependable, and caring person. I enjoy caring for the people and help them to enrich their needs. I have cared for people with Dementia,/Alzheimer , Spinal cord injury, ALS, Parkinson's , Deabetic & cases that comes along with aging. I started of in the caregiving field with taking care of my grandfather. In the process I got to learn a lot and I did enjoy doing it. I treat every client like my own family with love and compassion. Every client had different needs, so I get to understand the client first and foremost. I mostly enjoy the learning process in caregiving, no matter how long one has been a caregiver, we get to learn new things every time. I once had a client who had dementia (late stage), who did not want to go to bed (it was late at night). One thing that the client enjoyed was watching animal documentaries . I showed the client pictures of different animals that I had taken when I went to Kenya and the client calmed down and I was able to redirect the client to bed. My patience with the client helped me assure the client that I was on her side. This scenario really made me proud of the caregiver that I'm becoming. I love what I do.

I love what I do as a caregiver, I love helping out or making vulnerable people feel cared for, loved and comfortable by all means because they deserve quality life. I love adding value to people's lives. Being a caregiver I am able to interact directly with my clients and this way I get to know them better and in this way I am able to deliver quality care. I once helped my grandpa at his old age even without any skills of caregiving by then. I ensured he had a quality life by attending to his needs and being his companion and this made him happy

I being the first born in my family have done a lot of care in different areas. I was taught by my parents how to love,give attachment, attention, protection and help regardless the kind of situation. I've always been trying to help the elderly back home in severe cases and have been doing this out of my heart I was also a teacher and a counselor back home and this helped me very much to know how I can chip in and give some care I'm always happy when I see someone out of danger and is having some peace. This caregiving job is extremely good because when you are with your clients you relate with them and therefore you feel in the right place and in another family setting. I really enjoy because I feel them as my family forks. I've realized quite some reasonable changes generally in my clients lifestyle and health improvements .when I see they are confident and are trusting me for their care I feel good and honored, so I feel proud of my achievement.
