Hello my name Is Martine Freeman, I am 52 years old I have 3 kids all three are grown. I have a total of 8 grandbabies. One which lives in my home with his mother. I'm always in good spirits love to joke an laugh, my friends an children are always telling me to be serious welllll that's alittle hard. When I see people down I'm the one that will crack a joke I try cheering people up. What do I enjoy most in being a caregiver, I love taking care of the elderly, I love brightening up their day, I love making them feel comfortable whenever their in my care. What attracted me, well at first I wanted to see if I could be a caregiver whenever lived in Tulsa Oklahoma and as days went by I'm like yes this is something I could do for a long time. They pay just wasn't enough so while working as a PCA I also worked a full time job. I worked in Tulsa as PCA for like 2 years, so whenever I moved to Conway in 2016 I decided to go back to doing PCA, well I got aliitle more experience with different clients which was amazing because I had little to no experience with, paralyzed, Dementia, Altzheimiers, deaf and the blind. I've really learned alot from working with different type of health problems. Now I've never had to work with a lift, and from the looks of things I really couldn't trust myself I'm too scared thinking I wouldn't have the thing snapped on right. But for the most part I have gotten close to all the residents I have had. Oh I even had one that called me the N word, her husband continued to Apologize to me,and like I told him it's totally OK. She had Dementia, and Altzheimiers so she didn't know what she was saying. I did grow close to both her and her husband until they moved away.

I am always open to challenges and constructive feedback. I am open-minded and learn new things quickly.

I am a passionate, hard working CNA. I have been working as a CNA/caregiver for the past 7 years, I love doing what I do, and making sure my job is done to the best of my ability. Making sure my client is took care of well is my number goal in the home. In my spare time I enjoy doing different things, such as hair, painting, polishing my toenails, yard work, cleaning, and listening to music. I promise to provide the best possible care there is.

I started taking care of my grand parents and this transcended into helping others who are not able to care for themselves I enjoy seeing my clients happy and well groomed. Hi, I'm Jennifer! My previous background in healthcare started in 2007 when I worked for the Kidney Transplant Director at Baptist Med Center in Little Rock, AR. I transferred to the Women's Clinic at Baptist Health Springhill. I helped patients get ready for mammograms and assisted with surgical procedures. After 5 years at Baptist Health , I was recruited to assist the Financial Controller at an HVAC company where I stayed almost 9 years. I missed working in the health care industry and signed on with an Orthopedic DME company where I assisted patients post op in their home or hospital rooms with 'hands on' set up of CPM machines (continuous passive motion) DVTs and cold therapy either the day of, or day after surgery. Being a care taker is extremely fulfilling for me. I am also a part time professional fine artist and have been in several local art galleries.

I'm happy and have an optimistic outlook. I've been in the healthcare field of caregiver for over 20 years. Ive provided care to individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's, cancer, COPD, and various other diagnoses. I also am management for waiver services and ensure quality care of individuals we serve. It gives my heart joy to help people live their best life and bring them joy and integrity.
