I took care of my father whom had special needs until he passed. I took classes to gain certification to ensure I was giving him the best services possible. After my my father passed, I made a decision to continue helping others through personal care.

Hi. My name is Sharona (yes yes just like the song). Haha. I have done private personal care on and off for the last 16 yrs. I have taken a small break from 2016 until now. My father passed in 2016 which in turn took a heavy part of me with him. After my father died I moved in with my mother to help take care of her, so it wasn't a break per se. I am 40 years old with 2 children. I have a 16-year-old daughter and a 12-year-old son. I love the outdoors. I like fishing, camping and just enjoying time with my family. Family is the most important thing to me. I guess that is why I have always loved working in home health. I was never the type of person that could work a job that I wasn't helping for the good to some point. Also, I am currently studying to obtain my BA in Human Services with a concentration in Child and Family Services. I would like to work with families by trying to help provide services once they are reunited. I'm not sure what else to say but I am just a fun-loving, joking, trying to make someone else's day a little brighter type of person. I hope we get a chance to meet soon. <3 -Sharona
