I've completed training in the following courses through The Public Authority of Santa Clara County, Last phase of life, mental health, nutrition, personal care, pre-paramedical, Alzheimer's & Dementia Basics, first aid, diabetes, and CPR, to name a few. Being the oldest, and only girl of 4, I Inherited the role of caregiver at a very young age. I started as a babysitter and later in life gravitated towards adult care. I have remained a caregiver because I enjoy meeting people from different parts of the world and hearing their lives experiences, their knowledge, and the wisdom they often share. For me, there's no greater satisfaction than going home at the end of my workday knowing that my presence made a difference in someone else's day and that I am appreciated.

I like to be a caregiver because I care for the elderly. I enjoy worked working with them because I learn a lot of things. 1. I became a caregiver through the inspiration of my late mother. She was in a vegetative state for almost 2 yrs. due to massive stroke. Reinvented myself from working in the corporate world (banking) to moving in the healthcare field. It's a different experience where one found joy and accomplishment working with the elderly.
