I am a 37year old CNA and mother of three,I became a caregiver because I love helping others and caring for those who can't perform or need assistance with their daily activities. When I was a young girl my mother was diagnosed with MS and my siblings and I were responsible for helping her with her daily activities and from that moment forward I knew that was my calling. In the past I have taken care of several loved ones and others until they're last moment here and thats what I feel like I am here to do, its my passion. I love being able to make a difference in someone else's life and make them happy.

I became a caregiver to help people feel more independent while in there own home .I love being a caregiver because the look on clients face when you make them feel independent is priceless. I am proud that everyone I come across loves the great work I do I am a parent to a son with autism so I know patience and helping makes a difference the medical field has always been my calling.

Since I was raised from birth by my grandparents, who also took care of my handicapped mom since 10 years before my birth, I've had a lifetime of being in an environment of senior care and disabled care. Starting in high school, I had a larger role in caring for my grandad and mom with medical issues, and this role increased as my grandad had cancer and various treatments for it as well as increased hospital stays. Hello my name is Gretchen and I am a mother to three boys. I have been in the elderly care and childcare profession for over 25 years. I am currently attending Georgia Highlands College for nursing. This January was four years since I have been going to their school. I finally am able to apply for the nursing program this fall. I have completed all my core classes for my bachelors, so when I do get my degree in Associates in Science of Nursing I can bridge to the BSN program quickly. I am CNA certified. I have my first aid and/CPR AED BLS certification and also got my TB test complete and it came back fine. I also got a back round check as well. I am trying to find a job or a website that offers CNA's that are not linked to agencies. I am also more interested in doing in home care/private care or preferably at Wellstar. I have wonderful references from the families and jobs that I have worked for over the last 25 years. I will say I have taken time off these past four years since I had became a mother again and since I have been attending school these past four years.I live in the Dallas/Acworth area off of Cedarcrest. I am patient, loyal, compassionate, trustworthy & a dependable person who has always loved to care for the elderly, children or anyone who is in need of care. I am hoping to find a private family where the pay is $25 an hour. There is a little room for negotiating on my pay if the job is right for me and my family. But, also making sure I am a great fit for you and your family too!

I think caring for others is God's work and I love it. I see so many people out there mostly elderly people that need help don't have anyone in a life to help them or be a companion to them.
