Hello I'm Angela. I'm a Mother of two adult daughters. I am a widow. My passion is care giving, nurturing, taking care of people and making them a part of my family. To be a caregiver is to have patience. It means to be a gentle spirit that brings good vibes to any atmosphere. What attracted me most to becoming a caregiver, was having to take care of my dear Grandmother until she was called home. Now, I take care of my Dad who suffers from dementia. I assist my Mom, but being there and being able to assist in anyway I can is most pleasurable to me.

I graduated from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1986. Prior to school nursing I worked in both Newborn and Pediatric Intensive Care. In 1994 I became one of four School Nurse Consultants in Douglas County School District until the birth of my third child. After spending several years at home full time, and adding one more child to our family, I returned to DCSD as a School Nurse in 2008 when our youngest entered first grade. In 2010 I earned my Master's Degree in Health Services and Wellness Promotion. I love hiking, skiing, wellness, and most of all spending time with my husband and kids.
