I was working in a factory setting in my youth and really was not happy. I saw an ad for a CNA class at the Rochester Manor, so by keeping my job and taking the class at night, I was able to learn a whole new career, which has been so gratifying. The people that I have been able to meet over the years are truly inspiring, and they all have a story to tell, and I enjoy lending an ear.

Its about them and their needs. 3) Everyone is an individual. Same diagnosis does not mean the same kind of care. My care is based on the individual and their wants and needs. 4) Patience and being a great listener. How else will I know what is needed and wanted. I have provided care for many people.
