Hello, I consider myself a warm, compassionate person with a gift of patience. I empathize with many because I know what it feels like to need someone one to lend a hand and how difficult it may be to ask for that help when needed. At age 15, I cared for my dying mother and father, and decided to dedicate my life to be of service to others who could no longer care for themselves. I can honestly say that care giving brings out the best in me. When I see a need, whether it be physical, mental or spiritual one, I am challenged to work with the families to help fulfill that need. Everyone deserves that kind of experience in life and I believe everyone needs somebody. I am very proud to be a caregiver for the last 35 years and the families I have met have enriched my life and have helped me grow as a person. I am a very down to earth person who loves being a caregiver. I got into this field because i've always wanted to help people since I was a young child, but it wasnt until I assisted with the care of my great-grandmother who had Alzheimer's that I really knew this is what I wanted to do! Im not a perfect person by any means, but I do try my very best to assure that I give all my clients the type of care I would want myself or my own family to receive!

I was my fathers caregiver for the last year of his life while he suffered from cancer and I also help my best friend during his battle with his cancer. What I like being a caregiver is that making sure my clients are safe and comfortable at all times in their own homes or were ever they maybe The personal achievement I have accomplished is that I become part of my clients family this is because I once have a client who is in hospice when I took over in caring for her she was removed from hospice. I really have special skills in caring for my clients whatever mood, pain or depressed they are I always do my utmost best to make sure they are ok. And for this reason my clients and their family always like me and don't want to lose me.
