I care about everybody, and try too help out as many people as possible. It brings a smile too my face when I see others smile, and i know I'm doing everything I can too make that person comfortable and happy. What I really love about being a caregiver is the conversations I have with the elderly. Hearing about their life, and diffrent expirences they went through sometimes are life changing. Just getting too know them and knowing I'm helping someone makes me happy. One of the achievements I'm proud of is passing my TNA classes & getting a certificate. That made my day.

I became a caregiver because I am a compassionate , kind person who believes that anyone going through a tough journey deserves to have the best of care by someone who cares . I find the greatest reward in my job is meeting people who matter , and can offer as much to me as i can to them. I believe i learn from every person ive ever cared for. I give quality care to my clients. I'm always on time, never late. Very reliable. Been a CNA for 26 yrs. Because we all belong to God, and he wanted me to take care of his people. I like being a caregiver because i'm helping others that need help that can't help themselves much anymore, and they need someone there to assist them with the things they can't do anymore like they used to. My personal acievement that i'm proud of is that i've been a CNA for 26 yrs helping others for a long time now. I'm very proud of that accomplishment.

I love making a different in the lives of others.after taking care of my grand mother i developed the ability to care for people in need.When I came to the state in 1985 this was the job I acquired and I have being doing it ever since.I had worked in the nursing home setting,,hospital, and private homes. I have a positive impact on my client I smile a lot I'm open to communicate with my client, listened to there concern encouraged them making decisions if the can and to involve them in there care plan.i give ADL care, good hygiene,,cooked, do laundry, serve there meal but if client needs assistance with feeding I will do it. I do client shopping, take client out for recreation, make drs' appointment and take them to there appointment, medications remainder,or administered medications, reports any concerns to family member who is POA.It rewarding when you see your client condition is improving.Care giver job is rewording when you bond with your client and the built trust in you.

i became a caregiver because i have a great passion for this job, i love assisting elderly people with their activities of daily living, i always love to challenge and endulge myself in several situations. Being my brothers and sisters keeper is my number one priority. i believe helping the elderly people will help me to learn different concepts which will tend to improve my personal life

After helping take care of my oldest sister before she passed away I found that it is very rewarding to assist those who need help with daily needs. I enjoy getting to know the person I am taking care of; their background and life experiences. Learning from them is always fun. I love to motivate people; I had a client who would separate himself from the group, after finding out some of his interest I was able to get him to engage and socialize with others. I am self motivated and always do not only what is necessary to take care of my clients but to go that extra step to make them feel special and cared for.

I've did in home care for many years along with working in personal care homes and nursing homes. Had some personal issues happen and stopped for awhile. But am wanting to get back into it. I have my CNA, CPR/ FIRST AID CERT., and I'm certified in BLOOD BORN PATHOGENS .
