My favorite part about being a caregiver is giving back to those that are in need of ones help. Hi... I am Barry Gersten, I have to say that my best quality as a caregiver is that I am always willing to help with whatever is needed. I dont shy away from things that I know I can do. Another great quality that I have is that I like to see things organized and tidy and do not like to leave when things are not in order. One of the things I find that I really enjoy is helping people, especially those who are not able to help themselves. Back in the early 2000s, my Mother was diagnosed with Cancer (Emphysema ). I was her primary caregiver, and it brought me joy to know that I was there to help her through her most difficult times.

I am a Christian first and far most! I love all of God's people. That makes me a wonderful care giver. Your love one will love me like I love them. No job is to big, I do what ever is needed to make sure my clients are taking care of.

I have worked for a place called Harbor Chase since 2014 I have worked in a department called Memory Care. I worked with Alzheimer's and Dementia patients is my specialty. I am patient, energetic and passionate individual. I love working with the Elderly whether assisting them from eating to going to bathroom etc. Also does housekeeping and meal preparation whether it's soft or regular food.

My name is Tiara I'm 25 years old, when I was 18 my grandmother fell ill and there was nobody that we felt could give her the around the clock skilled care she needed without going into a facility (which nobody would have allowed to happen) so I began caring for her myself, following under the direction hospice had given. I began turning her as needed aiding in her mobility so she wouldn't lose the use of her legs, hand over hand feeding her. Anything she needed I was there and I realized I didn't just like to help but instead it gave me a good feeling to know I was doing more then just assisting I was a companion. She was no longer"down in the dumps" it's a wonderful feeling. I'm a very honest easy going person, I've got a habit of always seeing the brighter side. I enjoy reading and cooking in my free time. Im currently awaiting my test for my cna certification and soon after I will be bridging to LPN.

I have always enjoyed taking care of people and helping every way that I can. I took care of my nanny for 4 years before she passed and that is what initially made me become a care giver. I believe the most essential asset that I have is I know what my patients experience and relate to they way they feel. I was in a bad car wreck 3 years ago, and I was disabled and could not walk for a year. I was put into a nursing home for rehabilitation and was not able to do anything for mysel .

I have been working in patient care10+ years with different types of patients performing duties such as, bathing meal prep, medications reminders, transfers, and other patient care duties.

I'm very compassionate. Showing love and love to laugh and make others laugh as well. Just letting my patients know if there is anything that is bothering them they would never know they were sick or ill at all.

I became a caregiver because of my father. He use to live in a assistant living an just was not comfortable with no one doing his care. I had to trust the people that were on his team that everything will be OK. I like making a difference in a family's life when it come to a love one. Making sure that everything goes as they want it to go. Taking care of people that cant take care of them self or don't have a helping hand make me feel good. The health field is a field that I have a passion for. Every year I achieve in learning new thing, meeting new people, an making difference in people life's. I am from Seattle Washington an I have moved down to Rock hill South Carolina for good to see in be around my family. I have been in the health field for 10 years in still loving it.
