As a property manager for a senior living community, I realized my favorite part of the job was talking to the residents and helping them figure out ways to stay living in their home independently as long as they could. I loved listening to their stories and talking about happier times from their past. I am a very patient person and have raised 3 happy, successful daughters and helped care for my dad as he was losing his battle with cancer. I still help care for my mom as well. I enjoy helping people and try to bring joy into their lives. My husband and I recently moved to the area for a simpler life on the lake. When I left my job in Menasha to move here, my residents had a big going away party and said I was the best manager they had ever had. It brought me so much pride to know that I had impacted theirs lives as much as they had mine.

I have a bubbly personality and am easy to get along with. I'm attracted to being a caregiver because of family and friends needing an extra hand around the house. I enjoying caregiving because you are able to interact with many different people and learn 1 on 1 with the client to learn who they are. One personal achievement I am proud of would be my placement at nationals for my speaking competition.

I have been a CNA for over eleven (11) years. I enjoy working with a wide variety of people in all walks of life. Home health care is my true passion. My flexibility is what makes me good at dealing with a wide variety of situations and circumstances. I am dependable and safe. I am very good at what I do and I'm a quick learner.

I worked as a CNA for 16 yrs (3 years as a PCW) until I went back to school for my associates in Medical Administration. I went into the field as I love taking care of others. I find it to be very rewarding, like no other career. Helping others with daily life skills, no matter what it is, brings joy to my life. Knowing I make a difference feels good. I am very professional as I have worked in the field for such a long time. I am sensitive to a person's needs as well. It is very important to me to that the client/patient is taken care of as well. At some point in our lives we all will require help. It is so important that we remember this as we care for another in need. I am looking to work the overnight shift 2-3 nights per week or 5-6 shifts in a 2-week pay period. I am available to work between 7p-9a. I am also willing to work longer shifts up to 15 hours per shift. I would like to stay around 30 per week as I am enrolled in an online Medical Transcription course presently.

I am very caring. I have a passion to help others. I enjoy being a caregiver because I can help the individual with daily activities and day to day life. I know how important it is to count on someone when life can no longer have us do things on our own. A personal achievement that I'm proud of is still carrying a beautiful and caring heart.

Open minded to meet people's needs, trustworthy, honest, caring, compassionate. I began caring for my grandmother, afterwards I decided to get certified, it's been my compassion ever since. Making my residents feel good about themselves and enjoy the time that's left. My personal achievement, when going home knowing I did my best, and resident was content, I can go home and be proud of what I did.
