Though I currently am not 1st sure and CPR certified I have been taking g these classes over 30 yrs.I worked with the mentally and physically disabled for 30yrs. I believe it is essential to have patience when working with the elderly. When the well-being of an elderly individual depends on your presence you need to be there. Compassionate, supportive, supportive, and creative are all very helpful as well. I grew up with my mother and grand mother both working in the hospital as ICU nurses. My first real job was a caregiver at a small assisted living center. I absolutely fell in love caring for the elderly.

I believe that my experience is part of what makes me a wonderful caregiver. Partly because my experience in caregiving includes caring for both of my parents, and my late husband, at the end of their lives. Experience, compassion and empathy create a well rounded caregiver which is what I have to offer. Empathy and compassion are some of the personality traits I have to offer. But to make a great caregiver you must include tolerance and an open mind to understanding the human condition and to be mindful of others points of view. My experience also comes with a strong educational background regarding the tasks and skill set required of a complete home health care provider and the individual needs of the clients I assist.

Hello I am Felicia 34 years old became a CNA at 16 decided to step back after sometime and just care provider. I treat anyone and everyone with respect and dignity. I have a wonderful personality and enjoy spending time with you and getting you the proper care. I started young with great grandma's being sick and never stopped caring for people. I am just a proud mom of two boys making it day by day.

I have always loved being a caregiver. I have taken care of several loved ones. I personally love music and humor and games and I really get along with everyone. I'm proud to be a father, husband, and successful human being.

I began my journey of helping others 18 years old when I acquired a license in personal training with a focus on corrective exercise. My college years in kinesiology enhanced my empathy when I spent 100 hours interning at an in-patient rehabilitation facility where the focused population were those who sufferedTBI, joint replacement and neurological disorders. Later, through my honor society, the volunteer time I chose was split between tutoring STEM to 8th grade students in underprivileged communities (Austin Partners in Education) and organizing games and activities at an adult day care (AGE of Central Texas) where families took their loved ones who needed a little extra help dealing with dementia and Alzheimer's while they were at work during the day. Simultaneously juggling these humbling populations - those tryin to find self identity and those trying to maintain their sense of self identity really helped balance my own ego, instilling a life long humility and a sense of being a servant leader to those around me. I finished my studies at Texas State University with a major in Exercise Physiology and a minor in math. Since then I have continued to serve others where I have honed my skills in helping those achieve better quality of life through functional movement creating individualized programs combining clinical massage and corrective exercise. To conclude, I am a well rounded, loving and caring person who enjoys helping others find balance their quality of life with the aught most attention to safety in application.

I feel I'm an up beat, positive person. I am very kind & caring naturally, it's just who I am & what I do. Doesn't matter if I'm working or not. I love helping people just in general being able to build friendships & making peoples life a little easier daily makes me happy. I feel am very lucky to be able to wake up & help make a persons day a little happier just by being there for them and helping them out. One of my favorite parts of caregiving is getting to meet all the different types of people & hear their different life stories. My greatest accomplishments I'm most proud of in life would be my 2 amazing kids.

I enjoy all kinds of activities Music is a huge passion of mine I play 4 instruments and am actively learning another 3 History is one of my favorite subjects to listen about Listening to patients talk about their lives is the greatest joy to me I am always delighted to learn a new card game! or new hobby/skill from my clients I am also happy to offer things like exercising, bathing, and restroom use with the peace of mind of having someone capable of holding large capacities of weight. I am able to easily squat 320lbs and deadlift over 400lbs+. I've learned in my experience that can be a peace of mind that can come included if need be. My vehicle is a 2012 4Runner - It is not far off the ground and does provide comfortable seating. I am big on communication and see that a majority of people require transportation. I also am as well a person who is proud of my cooking skills and ability to make meals with a series of dietary restrictions or requests as needed.
