What makes me a good caregiver is I take pride in my work, I take care of your loved ones just as you would expect. I see my clients as I would my own family. What attracted me to become a caregiver the last 6 years is when I was little girl my grandmother needed more help around the house and full filling her regular routine. Growing up my father needed the same help as he was bed bound I refused to let him go to a nursing home so I made sure to help him in anyway I could. The main thing that I enjoy most about being a caregiver is knowing that families loved ones are being taken care of and not being neglected or abused. It makes me feel whole that I can bring light back into someone's life wether it be just providing companionship or making my clients feel they are not alone. One of my biggest personal achievements I am proud of would be being a mom, taking care of my kids and also having the extra passion to take care of someone else warms my heart.

Being in the healthcare field for over 10 years, had shown me the importance of helping ones to be able to stay at home with assist. I have rehabbed many to assisted living, ECF, and home settings throughout my career. I love working with all ages but most experienced with geriatric population. My personality is outgoing, creative, and compassionate. I will try my hardest to fulfill all requirements but attempt to make it as enjoyable as possible. I am CPR certified and am up to date on all TB, MMR, amd flu vaccinations. I would love to assist with keeping older ones in their home as long as safely possible.

What makes me a good caregiver is I'm very reliable and hard working. I'm a very happy person overall with a passion of helping others.

2 years as a caregiver

I love helping people. I started off an assisted living, then went and got my CNA. I have done homecare, worked in both hospitals and even a few nursing homes. I love the interaction with people and learning different things. I love the joy I give people helping them. It makes me feel good as a person.

I enjoy taking care of elderly and handicapped people I enjoy being able to keep them in there homes as much as I can. Seeing the people happy to see me every time I show up to help them . Taking care of my own father when he was ill.

Because I like being a caregiver I am passionate when it comes to the elderly,the story they tell you are amazing and sometimes funny and it is a great feeling when you see them laugh,making them happy laugh doing activities and caring for them,I am 50 years old I am married 32 years I have three grown sons and two granddaughters I love very much

I've been in the medical profession since 2004 when I was a EMT for Menard county. Then decided to become a in home care provider after taking care of my grandfather till he past away.

I am great with people very patient and kind. I have a lot of compassion for those in need and it gives me self gratification knowing I made a difference.

I liked the feeling, that I was helping a person, & it's a great job to have. The feeling @ the end of the day . That i helped a person with there everyday tasks & duties. U give the best care that u can give . That I have a big heart, & I raised 2 wounderful young mem boys on my own & manged to keep full time job & go to college . U can do anything u put ur mind to. I'm a 35 women, who is down to earth & a people person, I enjoy life. 20
