Greetings! I'm Sheila, I've been in the healthcare field going on 9yrs now. I've had many experiences from a home health to hospitals, to assisted living, long-term care, physical therapy and etc. I gain my passion of becoming a CNA through the love that I have to care for others. It's my drive and dedication that keeps me lifted daily. Never in a million years did I think my role of being a CNA would take place once upon a time in my life with my own family member. A year ago my sister was in a tragic accident which left her paralyzed and in the care of both me and my mom. Although I already had passion and love for what I do, that gave me even more strength and courage being as good as I was. August of 2022, she gained her wings and it's a moment I'll never forget. It gives me the mindset to strive and continue pushing myself daily for better. I want to make a difference someday inside the healthcare field and my goal is to do just that. I'm currently a online graduate student pursuing my Masters in Healthcare Management. Upon graduation I will continue my career as a CNA as well as gain a higher position inside the healthcare field. Being in this position, you understand what it feels like, what it takes and how strong you truly have to be caring for others and that is something I truly don't ever see myself pulling away from. Can't wait to meet you guys and I'm excited about this new job journey.

My name is Agalean and I'm a professional caregiver. I started out at 15 unprofessional taking care of my grandmother and I enjoyed until the end. As I got older and started working other jobs I didn't like them I did only for money so I decided to step out in faith and went from making 14.00 a hr to working 10.00 a hr being a care giver and just like that the feeling of taking care of my own grandmother was back and I love it so now I want to start doing this on my own making my own salary and doing what I love.

My greatest skills in health care are making the resident/ patient feel comfortable caring for them. Trust, and caring, and sometimes you have to take period listen to each individual. What attracted me to becoming a caregiver was my grandmother. My family is very close and when my grandmother the glue to our family were Diagnosed with ALZHEIMER'S we all worked together. It when from one thing to another. After her transition I decided to work in health care. I enjoy caring for people. Whatever I can find my hands to do, I do it. With dignity love and respect. While working with ARc of Baldwin County, the Viola House was about to be close down by state because of poor keeping. With the help of good teamwork / people that needed to work and much pray the house became a home to eight mental challenge people within three months. I love what I do.
