My interest in caregiving started at an early age. Every sunday after church I would visit the sick and shut in members and others who requested prayers. I then attended a Medical Specialty High School and was involved in volunteering at local Adult Day Cares. When I was about 15 years of age my grandmother started developing Dementia and shortly after had a stroke. I became her main caregiver; cooking, cleaning, reading to her when not in school. I love the fact that I get to make a difference in someones day to day life. I tried many different ventures and always ends back into caregiving. This is what I'm meant to do and I'm good at it and enjoy doing it.

I am a caring and compassionate individual who enjoys helping elderly persons and provide the that will generate happiness and comfort. I chose this job because it allows me to reach out and share my love, time and also to provide care and assistance to persons who are elderly or incapable. There are several things I liked about being a caregiver, the greatest of these is to see that smile on a patient face that says thanks for being here for me .

I am a caregiver for many years now, and i still enjoyed what i does best. When i was about nine years old living with my adoptive mother, in my Native country, I never forget how i had to tidy her, and fix breakfast lunch and snacks every morning before i leave for school, and after returning home i had to wash those dishes and even cook Dinner,because one day she was cooking a pot of soup and it fell and burn her real bad,I remember seeing her in that hospital bed in pain. I'm a honest, empathetic, loving, gently and reliable person,i enjoy meeting and working with people.I pay attention to all details,and like to be sure everything is just right. I am a creative thinker. And like to have an open mind about what will work best, i am efficient and highly organized, which enables me to be as productive as possible on the job.
