I started young as a medical assistant..continued working in Healthcare on and off for nearly 30 yrs. Came home to be caregiver to my parents and continued in caregiving since their death. I am laid back, patient, witty and out right funny at times. I take my caregiver responsibility seriously. I'm punctual and dedicated. I became a caregiver in 1989 when i became a CNA and once my mother became ill in that same year. She had a stroke and could no longer do for herself. There were times when I had to give her an enema along with personal hygiene care. Prepared meals, cleaned home, took my mom shopping, out to eat occasionally. I find it rewarding to care for someone and making them happy and feel wanted. I cherish making someone feel special because they are. My personal achievement that I am most proud of was to be able to do this for my mom. What makes me proud is making someone else life worth living. I love to talk and very interested in listening to them. I've worked at windmill nursing home in South Holland, Illinois and that gave me a satisfaction, I never knew I could have in life. I am a CNA and I have also worked in the healthcare field for over 30+ years in the business aspect of billing and collection.

I have been in emergency care for 10+ years and love giving back to my community. I currently work in the town I grew up in. I have made lifelong relationships while being there and consider them a part of my family. My very first job out of high school was a CNA at Beecher Anchorage. I formed some pretty strong bonds with some of the residents along with their families. I love helping take care of people and know that I am making a difference in someone else's life.
