Hi im Shannon, I am very caring, friendly, enjoy meeting new people. I love working/helping the senior public, I learn alot from them they have lived through many years and they are experienced. My favorite is to hear when and how or where they grew up. Its a warm nice feeling. My Mom and Dad both passed from cancer so i have lots of experience from taking care of them. I learned how to clean my Moms trach which i feel is a big achievement for me I sure never thought i could ever do something like that, but it was for my Mom and for her to be able to come home so yes I did learn that and would of moved mountains if needed to be. I hope to be able to help anywhere I may be needed.

I was a caregiver for my quadriplegic son until his passing at age 15. He taught me patience, being kind and self-care. I believe in treating people with kindness and go the extra mile for someone. I have worked with elder people for 8 years now. I enjoy using music therapy and crafts to relaxation my client. I have attended classes on Dementia and Alzheimer's. Hello! My name is Andrea, you may also call me Andy (for short) I've been a CNA since 2008. What's helped me enjoy my career more than anything is my residents & families. I consider everyone I have got the pleasure of taking care of like extra grandparents and I couldn't thank their families enough for sharing them with me. I've been trained & also have worked with Alzheimer's, & dementia. My grandmother whom I took care of for a couple years also had this disease. I've been trained on hoyer lifts many times. Also I've been educated on puree foods, thicken liquids & mechanical soft. I have a family of 2 of which I absolutely adore. My 13 yr old son & 1 yr old little girl. They keep me busy when I'm not working our summers consist of baseball games, swimming & learning something new everyday.

Hello! First and foremost I want to thank you for concerning me to take care of your loved one. I take pride in being a caregiver! A good caregiver is patient, flexible, and has empathy and compassion. Those are exact reasons why I knew I wanted to take care of people! At a very young age I realize that I always wanted to help people. From taking care of younger siblings to my grandpa when he got sick. I wanted to make sure that quality of life was being lived to the fullest. I enjoyed seeing others happy because I was able to help. I knew my passion of caregiving really took a toll on me when I started my first CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) job. The experience I received really grew my passion for being a caregiver!

I have been a cna for 11 years and a qma for 4 years. I also have my certificate to give insulin. I love taking care of people and I'm currently in school to become a nurse. Since doing agency I always thought about having one client I can take care of, bond with, and be there for them as long as I'm needed.
