I became a caregiver because its a rewarding job and I enjoy helping others. Being a caregiver you learn from each patient and you can take that knowledge on to the next. I am personally proud helping a patient who was under weighed gain 25 lbs and he stop being afraid of the outdoors. The degree of satisfaction derived from my interventions is a unique feeling, to experience. Both uplifting...but also humbling.
