I enjoy a meaningful day, when I can be of service by helping others, Caregiving is what I enjoy,and what I have been doing the past 17 years, with experience and knowledge in every aspect of Home Healthcare, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Dementia and Hospice Care. Much of my experience throughout the years was achieved through learning and earning trust, guidance and understanding from my patients when I provide Quality of Life Care and Compassion.

I became a caregiver because my mother in law moved in with us a few years back because she was I'll and needed help. I started working with ambercare as her full time caregiver. I enjoyed helping and caring for her very much. It was like I had finally found what I was meant to do. So unfortunately she passed. I continued on as a caregiver. I have worked with many family's in the passing years, with whom I've met lots of great people to care for. Many have become good friends and almost like family. That's what happens when you spend so much time caring for a person, it becomes more personal but on a very professional level. I care about my clients unlike the care you may see in a facility where there are just not enough caregivers to go around. So no one gets that extra special care and attention. I love helping people and I believe everybody deserves to live with dignity and as much independence as they would like.

I have a passion in caring for the elderly. I became a caregiver several years ago. I began my journey when my partner's grandmother was diagnosed with Dementia & Parkinson's disease. I decided to alleviate the family from the day to day stresses that come along when your caring for a loved one.. Originally I had just volunteered. What I like about being a caregiver is: I enjoy helping people and it has taught me to not take life for granted. I feel fortunate and thankful for my health. This career by far has taught me to have compassion and how important it is for the family to feel secure with the care provided. I became a bondsman at a very young age and was then licensed as a solicitor for a bonding company. I had my own office at the age of eighteen. I always excel quickly in my positions. Just helping others makes me feel good about myself. Simply knowing I can brighten someone's day. My mother became very ill, and I ended up taking care of her. I know first hand how stressful it is on the family when your loved one is no longer able to function in day to day life. I think how would I want my mother to be cared for. She ended up passing. I grew to love everything about care giving. It really hits close to home and I know how I would want my family member treated if my mother was being cared for. I strive to maintain a positive attitude. Care giving is so much more than a job to me . It has helped me to be more grateful of life and people. I'm proud of the person I am and have became. I am a hard worker. I have integrity, compassion, I take pride in what I do. I'm an outgoing person, very kind ,dependable, hard working, self sufficient, quick learner and adaptable to any situation. I take care of my client with respect and I make sure that they are always clean and changed. I am a great cook. I exercise a lot so me helping my client with some light workout is really important to me. I also love listening to my clients stories. I make sure that I do my job right and that the client is happy with the work I am doing. I am a great driver, know technology and have the patient to take care of someone. Been doing CNA for 12 years and I enjoy doing it.

In 2007 while still working in the title industry I also started volunteering for Hospice, which I enjoyed very much and still do. I volunteered for Hospice of NM while under different management but took many hours of training which resulted in many patients in companionship. Some of my folks did come off of Hospice but many did not. I was voted by management and personnel as the number 1 volunteer for the organization. After a few years I had to take a break do to my other work schedule then decided to go into caregiving. I am not certified. Only experienced. The need for the elderly or homebound is abundant, now more than ever. I see to many elderly alone and afraid. They need help.

I enjoy working with elderly. The majority of my clinical practice was senior care and rehab services. I am an LPN becuase I like to help people get better in the most carying way following Drs plan of care and helath guidelines, I am proud of the way patients heal with the porpper support and careful follow up from our end

I am a truly caring person who will consider the needs of my clients, as this is my life's work. I have been immersed in this line of work for the right reasons and am willing to be flexible with my hours based on a clients needs. I remain dedicated and preserve each clients wishes and dignity. I've been in the field of caregiving 25+ yrs from working with DD waivers (child/adult) disabilities, assisting elderly in home health plus assisted living environments. I've received multiple certifications in CRP/FIRST AIDE, & MEDICATIONS, & many more. Any kind of hand over hand assistance requirements rather online or in person I've kept up to date personally & responsibly. I HAVEN'T ANY ISSUES WITH LIFTING PROPERLY & TRANSFERRING individuals, I am fully trained in this area. I've dedicated my life to fulfilling job tasks well doing something I REALLY enjoy most, helping others with daily life skills their unable to do alone, including providing companionship. I've learned being on time, reliability, & dedication is a priority through out my years of experience. I'm very proud of what I've learned so far and I've got plans to learn more everyday. One of my main achievements is watching , over viewing & loving an individuals day to day progress. As I grow with knowledge & age it's not always a JOB, it's being a positive inspiration & motivator to others in a time of need. I treat others they way i would want to be treated, & well working i always create a bond with my patients as if their family however still acknowledging there are boundaries being the employee. Meeting new people an being a team player gives me so much gratitude towards this profession I've established for so many years. I always attempt to apply availability PRN (as needed) in case of last minute emergencies being ON CALL. Flexibility variates (I try NOT to do overnights ONLY) however I have no problem with trying just to meet the needs of others and their families.
