I enjoy taking care of people who need my help. I am a Christian lady with strong Christian values. I don't smoke, love animals, and I am a energetic and happy person. I have 2 sons and they are in college. I enjoy planting flowers, fishing, hunting, and going to church. I take pride in all that I do especially when it comes to taking care of another's family members. I spoil my patients and treat them with love and respect and I treat them as if they are my own family . I believe in being punctual and not leaving early for work or anything. I have experience in taking care of autism, ALS, cancer, cholostomy bags, bed ridden, Alzheimer, dementia, and many other patients and being their companion is also an importance part to the helping of others maintain their independence while being at home. I became a CNA two years ago with the heart for helping people who have a hard time helping themselves, witch is something I am very compassionate about, I have worked in a long term care facility for a little over a year in that time I picked up on many different skills, for example how to redirect a Alzheimer's patient, what things I need to watch out for on stroke patients, how to treat and prevent bed sores, what types of things to watch out for with residents with diabetes, those are just a few of the many things that I have learned..I think the most important thing about what I do is learning about my patients, their likes and don't likes, their routines;witch is very important with patients with Alzheimer's, communication with the family and above all respect and trust..I love what I do and I am very compassionate about my job..

I do 24 hour care giving 7 days on 7 days off. I like helping people. I have worked with cancer patients. heart patients and others with slight dementia. I have been in the caregiving business for about 15 years.. I am married , my husband is retired . We do not have any children and i like to work the schedule of 7 on 7 off it gives us more time to go on trips and be together as a couple.

My favorite part of my job is being able to help so many people maintain their independence so they can continue to live in their own home where they want to be. my biggest achievement to date would have to be finding my dream job, a HHA.
