PLEASE READ MY PROFILE FIRST!!! I have been a private in home caregiver for over 20 years. I became a caregiver because I love to help people. I love the interaction, the closeness and the level of respect I can give as an outsider. I have plenty of references. I am skilled with Medicare insurance and DME companies to get supplies so patients don't have to pay out of pocket so they can get what they need to stay home. I have worked with doctors and agencies to get care that is needed. My patients become family and I take care of them as such. I have worked with loved ones that have Alzheimer's, Dementia, ALS, and everything in between. I am very good at my job and I do very much take a lot of stress off the family members. I I am very good at my job and care deeply for the people I take care and treat them as I would my own. I have always made sure I am worth what I make. I not only can do the health aspect part of the job but I will also help around the house. I can take you or just run errands for you. My references will tell you what I do not. I am not worried about animals, I have become part of most of the families I have taken care and are still in touch with 99% of them today. I do not mind driving and to get to where you are so please do not let that stop you from contacting me. I have had every kind of patient there is with every ailment. And if I can make their days better than my day is better!! My pay depends on hours and job. It is not set in stone. Also, I have had calls from people that have wasted my time. Please don't waste my time. I love what I do and am very good at it, I have plenty of experience and can get anything for my patients. So, when people waste my time it takes away from my patients.

I am a loving and caring person and I love helping others. I love my job and what it allows me to do for others. I have been on the receiving end of having a loved one get very sick and bounce back and forth from nursing home to hospital so I know all too well not just the physical but the emotional strain that situations like these can have for people and family's. This is why I try my best to help the best I can in any situation. I choose to get into this line of work because unfortunately I had to see first hand with a loved one that not everyone is properly taken care of or even cared about in these situations and that is just awful and unfair. When my loved one passed away I vowed to make a difference, even if its just one person or a small few its better then none or just doing nothing.

(2) Why did I become a caregiver: When i was in my early twenties I had got a job in activities in a Nursing Facility and realized this was my passion. Then became a Cna/ Gna. I enjoy caring for others. (3) What do I like about being a caregiver: I like being a caregiver because it makes me feel good to know that I'm having a positive impact caring for someone .

I am the bubbly personality that loves to interact with whoever I provide services for. I do not play in my cell phone. I have been a CNA for almost 16 years and I am slowly on my way to achieving my associates for RN. I have two adorable dogs and I am fostering another puppy at the moment. I love animals and gardening. I do not have children. My transportation is reliable. I love to care for people, as the reward is in itself. Most experience is with Autism, Cerebral Palsey, Alzheimer's and Dementia, as well as Multiple Sclerosis. I have ventilation experience and GI feedings. Experienced with medication administration. CPR certification is up to date, as well as my certification.

I have 30+ years experience in long term care> I have also done 1 1/2 years Hospice care and have also done Home Care. I love working with the elderly as I think I get more from them then anything I can do for them. I feel people should be shown respect, and that their dignity is what needs to be on everyone's mind that are caring for that resident! I knew at the age of 8 that I wanted to be a nurse and I have been blessed in my life as I have enjoyed so many years doing what I always wanted to do.I have been trained by the Alzheimers Association to care for and enhance the lives of the Dementia patient's I have cared for I have help develop and implement what I learned to open a Dementia unit that used Aromatherapy, Cognitive Activities, Music Therapy and ADL help.
