I am a retired Recreation Therapist with my Master degree and 37 years of paid experience working with seniors. I have much training working with Alzheimer’s dementia. I live locally, am very kind and patient, am reliable, honest, dependable and am hard working. I can provide many activities to increase their quality of life; I also have 4 years of experience working in their home, as I am also a Certified Home Health Aide; I assist them with ADL skills, assisting them getting out of bed, getting washed, getting dressed, toiletting, eating, doing light house work, cooking, driving to appts and dispense medications. I started caregiving right after I got out of high school. I have always loved it! I have worked different places as a caregiver and have been doing this for about eight yrs. I worked with the Visiting Angels Caregiver & Home health group out of Knoxville, Tn for about 2 years as a caregiver. I also helped to care for my mother, father, a sister, a brother, an aunt, an uncle, my husband, and my son. I am retired, but I still enjoy working part time as a caregiver. I can help care for your loved ones, when you need to be engaged elsewhere. Or when you just need an occasional break.... And we all need that occasional break sometimes.

ive always been kind and a good hearted person,i take the time to listen to people talk. i helped take care of my 90year old great grandmother.i loved and enjoyed doing it all.i have always wanted to be a nurse which is what im trying to do . i love taking care of people no matter who they are. i did the very best i could while taking care of my great grandmother and i do it because i love to do it i dont care about the money i just enjoy doing it. i would rather do something i love doing than do something im not pasionate about. i am in school for my ged.
