Certified CPR/First aide, have about 20 yrs. of caregiving experience..I have worked as a CNA and have also worked with MHMR adults. It is my passion in life to help others. I have always wanted to make people's lives easier by doing whatever I could do for them,,Bathing, cooking, cleaning, and just being a person who can just give love and encouragement and spending time with them. Some of my personal traits that help me be a great caregiver include empathy, compassion, patience, attentiveness, dependability and trustworthiness. I took on the role of a caregiver in 2010 and again 2016 when my own parent needed hospice care. I and am currently employed to date with the same company. I enjoy providing physical and/or emotional care for client/patients that can no longer do so for themselves. Although it can be challenging at times, it can also be a very rewarding job as well. My greatest achievement that I am personally proud of has to be raising my 3 children on my own. The second and equally important personal achievement was caring for my own parents when they needed home care. Lastly, the ability and will power and determination to go back to college and receive my BBA in my adulthood has to be one of the most gratifying personal accomplishment I did for myself.

Hi. My name is Christy Gutierrez. I'm 43 years old. I've been doing home health/ caregiver for over 10 years now. I love taking care of the elderly. My goal is to make my clients happy & comfortable. It truly is my passion. I have a 10 year old daughter. I did take CNA classes. Please No smokers please, as I'm very allergic to cigarette smoke & or any kind of smoke. Female preferred only. I recently passed my certification exam for phlebotomy. I'm a Certified Phlebotoist, & also I currently passed my Certification for EKG, so with that being said I'm both a certified Phlebotomist & EKG technician. I've also worked with bed-bound Alzheimer's/dementia clients.

I am very compassionate towards my clients, I always put myself in their shoes(sort of speaking). I take care of them as I would want to be taken care of. I am bilingual and always ready to help in any way I can. Taking care of one's own family and always being there accounts for a lot in their eyes. What I enjoy most is seeing them laugh and remember what it was like growing up in their time. Helping someone gain enough strength to be able to move more on their own and achieve their goals.
