I got into this line of work after helping my mother care for my grandparents that both had Alzheimer's and Dementia. This work is very rewarding for me because I not only FEEL like I make a difference in my clients lives, but, it also shows by the smiles on the faces of them and their families. I not only assist with daily living activities and house keeping, but I also provide companionship and support. I have the ability to fit in just like a member of the family most times and it is very important to me that my clients feel respected and safe and loved.
