Hello,I've been in the home health business for 25yrs. I'm comfortable and familiar with every aspect of care giving . I've never met a stranger a day in my life,I can get along with anyone. I'm a quick study and welcome learning something new everyday.

I believe what makes me a good caregiver. Is I have alot of patience, hard working, caring and down to earth. I decided to become a caregiver because I love helping others in need. I treat my clients as if they were apart of my family, which is with care and respect. Making my client laugh is my main goal. Laughter is good for the heart. It warmed my heart when a few clients I use to work with told me that they loved me for taking such good care of them. That reassured me that I achieved my goal taking care of them the best I can.

Hi! First off, I admire the families that choose to hire someone to help their loved ones and not take the option of putting them in a nursing home. I have never been more content or more pleased then having a job as a caregiver. You're able to bring life back into the home, become apart of the family and commit yourself whole heartedly. I prefer to wear scrubs on the job. My job duties for the last 6 years as a caregiver w/ my most recent patient/s are as follows. . Cooking, cleaning, running errands such as groc shopping, driving them, pill mgmt and doctor appointments, I'm knowledgeable in Alz/ Dementia as well. As for the ladies I do gardening, decorating, manicure and pedicures as well as hair. I'm very organized and keep everyone on schedule. I'm a hard worker. I'm cpr/ first aid licensed and am also certified nursing assistant,I will take care of their bandages or any other wounds. I will go above and beyond for you and your family as if it's my own and I'm very good at keeping them company I have learned so much from bonding w/ the elderly. I love what I do. I won't let you down. I have commendable references also! Traveling is not an issue as long as it fits my schedule and it is the hourly wage is feasible. Allow me to help you and I can make things much easier on your loved one and their stay at home.

I am caring, empathetic, and quick to learn. I have been around all ages and have seen & experienced many different disabilities or health conditions. I tend to be a fixer. I know majority of the patients are probably going to be terminal but personally, I believe everyone in life is considered terminal. I look at things as if we aren't going to get out alive, so let's 1. Meet the necessary needs for each patient. 2. Let them enjoy the life they have left here with the people they love & by doing the things they love. I think for the most part when you have a heart that's keen to the caregiving industry, the most enjoyable thing is getting to go home with a fulfilling, "I did good for someone who truthfully needed it" feeling. But most of all, there's no story like an old story. I love to listen to them, to take in as much as I can but making sure I still fulfill my professional expectations while doing so. My heart is kind and ready to help or do everything in my power to keep these patients happy. Being that I am only 24, I don't have a whole lot of personal achievements that I'm beyond ecstatic to share just yet. But I think in this moment, answering this question, my most proud achievement so far is overcoming the life that I chose for myself. Overcoming the toxic family, overcoming my own personal self doubts or self worth. To feel like enough is enough some days & to know I am worthy of this life, to know God has put me here to do his work so He can sit back and watch is an overwhelming, gracious humbleness. I have an out going personality. I have been doing this kind of work since high school. My compassion is helping and caring for people. You have to have it your heart to do this kind of work.

Since I was very young,I have always been a caring person, loved the Lord and continued to take my personality to different levels,I started nursing but raised my children instead but I became a nurses aide as well as a day care worker,I continued with nurses aide work in nursing homes,I did switch jobs quite a bit as I raised my children and often worked two but mum love has always been as a caretaker young and old,I have worked at a hospital and several nursing homes, done home health, and I am currently processing paperwork to continue nursing,

I am a very honest and trustworthy person with a heart and passion for helping take care of people. I have helped take care of my grandfather after my grandmothers passing , I have worked in facility and private home care setting.Waco VA hospital as a Nursing asst. As well You have to care and treat others as a person not a number....its not just a job. I have worked at daycares most of my life but when I came into the field of caregiving I knew that is where I belong I love to take care of people I'm a born nurturer and I knew when I started working with people that I had found my true calling

I thirst volunteered at safe care helping being a caregiver then when I turned 18 they decided to hire me I worked there for two years with six clients doing meal preparation, medication reminder exercises, outings and bathing. Then I moved to Whitney and started working with Divine Living assistance going to peoples houses and taking care of them also doing meal preparation , medication reminder, exercising, outings and bathing! I absolutely love what I do I love taking care of someone that can't take care of themselves and makes me feel good about myself and I feel like I'm giving back. I couldn't ask for a better life and I couldn't ask for a better job I'm very upbeat, kind, caring and funny.

It has been an honor to give care to those who trusted me to assist them. Each and every one I have been blessed to care for has made me a better person. There is seldom anything else that gives my heart the true fulfillment I feel when I am able to bring an individual comfort, joy and happiness into their life during challenging times. I am trustworthy, reliable, compassionate, kind, happy, joyful and loving. I am intelligent, work well under pressure, use good common sense, I do not carry my feelings on my sleeve. I understand the stress people go through during times of difficulty. I am patient. I enjoy music, reading, painting, gardening, nature, long walk and good conversation. I am flexible and always work around the family's needs. I own a horse ranch in Bosque County, that is where I live. I have been blessed with an incredible life and love caring and giving to others.
