I've worked as a nurse assistant over 16 yrs caring for disabled, elderly, ill, and mentally challenged clients. I have worked in nursing home, hospital, home care, senior facility, respite care, private duty, direct care service, and hospice care, and trained in massage. I like to challenge myself as a caregiver with promoting new work skills. My time is giving care to others, that cannot do for themselves. My achievement is to see my three children succeed in the life that values them. For myself, to be recognized for my work performance, that's giving to each individual that has been cared for, show appreciation. 1. What actually makes me a great caregiver is my willingness to serve others and I believe it's my calling. 2. I became a caregiver because, I have great compassion for individuals in need of personal one on one care. 3. Their are several reasons why I like being a caregiver. The first reason is that I am able to be there for individuals that are in need of help. Another reason I enjoy being a caregiver is because, my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer and after the cancer she went into remission. Shortly afterwards, she was diagnosed with dementia. Recently she was diagnosed with Parkinson. I eventually had to move her into my home and I realized how self fulfilling and rewarding it is to serve others with sincere humility. I feel that as a caregiver each individuals that I care for should receive the best of care, compassion, and the best quality of care that life has to offer. 4. My most greatest achievement is yet to come because, I'm looking to achieve more tomorrow than I have today. Life is a lifelong learning process and when you think that you have achieved your greatest achievement there is still room left for more improvement.

What makes me a great caregiver my heart is about the client and they care and well bein and making sure they are cared for properly and have a companionship with there making it about them letting them know they are still loved and no matter what I'm there for any needs to be met by them I became a caregiver because I use to go to work with my mom and watch her care for her clients and I always told myself I wanted to be someone who could be there for someone who could not be there for themselves and I want them to know I'm there for them and they are like family to me in anyways to be I being doing this over 20 yrs I have well experience caring for patients in there homes in the assist facilities and nursing home home I even worked in group homes I know how to use the hoyer lift and transfers meal prep dealing with medication reminders and doing the medication ADL for the clients cooking, cleaning , grooming went to the Doctor appointments and having a companionship with them letting them know it's about them and not me because my duty is to make sure they are comfortable

I'm friendly, people person you can count on , hard worker, dependable, motivated and very competent in getting the job done. I started out in this field receiving my CNA many years ago and have advanced and developed many skills since then . Because of my eagerness to grow and learn I have held many positions, I have been in the nursing field for over 30 years and have compassion and patience when dealing with clients and always maintain a high level of professionalism . Been a caregiver I love known when I take care of a patient i give my best to make sure they are right in every way and when I'm finish I'm smiling from ear to ear cause I know I just made GOD proud ' my mom got real sick before she died and I had to learn how to take care of her and I did, my personal achievement I'm proud of is when I not just having my patients looking and feeling good on the out side but feeling good and motivated in the inside to

I'm a mother of 4. I have been working in the medical field for 22years. I'm also am a NRCMA have experience in home health also in a family practice clinic. I'm also certified in First Aid/ CPR.

I have been raised by my grandmother and have been with her until she passed away. She has a hip replacement and I was taking care of her all the time and I loved doing it. That's why I become a caregiver,because I am a very compassionate person who is caring and very responsible. I love talking Care of people specially for the elderly and sick one. And wherever I went to work with, patient and their families really appreciate what I do and they let my employer know, and I was very proud of myself. Whenever the patient is happy that when my satisfaction is . I'm sure that I will meet your expectations for the position I'm applying for.

It brings me great joy knowing that the patients I take care of and work for can have a better quality of life by getting to know them and help them with whatever they need. I have always enjoyed not only working with older people, but children as well. I have been a caregiver for many years not only for family and relatives but people I never knew before. I always feel a sense of satisfaction knowing that the people who I work for can finally feel relief knowing they are around someone trustworthy and honest, and someone that they can feel comfortable with. I am proud of the fact that I am going to online college to pursue a degree in business management so that one day maybe I can open my own healthcare establishment.
