I'm a certified nursing assistant as well as a certified medication technician. I also have CPR and First Aid training. I have 11 years of experience. I've worked for my current employer for 11 years. I was also a school nursing assistant for 3 years. I have worked with the elderly in their homes.

Ive always felt that taking care of people was my calling. I love every aspect of it, everyone you meet has a different story to tell so why not have a reason to spend time with them and listen to who they are. When it comes to caregiving there isn't one thing that i could say i like more than the other, simply because I cherish every moment. When it comes down to being a caregiver I dont look at it as a job, to me its more of taking care of a family member I've never met before.

I received my BA from Virginia Commonwealth University and I am currently working on my masters at Mary Baldwin University. I work a full-time at home job and am looking to pick up a few hours working as a CNA. I enjoy working as a CNA because I love getting to know people and their stories, assisting those who may have no one else to depend on, and providing genuine support. I am laid back and easy going. My clients like me because I allow them to do whatever they're able to do. I only help them to keep them safe. I feel my client find their autonomy one of the most important things they have left. I love this work. I feel like I'm an important part of these people's lives. The one thing I hate is when I have to leave them for one reason or another.

I am a young ambitious female trying to work her way through the medical field. I started taking care of adult with mental disabilities when I was 18 and have continued on that track. I love helping others and seeing someone else thrive is my true passion. I am willing to help anyone succeed, and I hope I am part of the reason why they did. I am proud to say I have earned my CNA, and CMA license and I intend to put them to good use helping others.

I believe I am a great caregiver because I genuinely enjoy helping people, it is very rewarding for me. I became a CNA in 1996, while working at a large nursing home/retirement center, in the hospitality field, because I really enjoyed working with the elderly making their lives a little brighter. I continued to work there for seven years, I also worked in assisted living for ten years, then private duty care which I also enjoy. I am a mature, caring, compassionate person, who will care for your loved one with respect and dignity. My greatest personal achievement was graduating from Kaplan University while working full-time.

Certified in CPR PCA certified (Personal Care Aide) I love being a caregiver, I love helping anyone I can. I have helped take care of all of my grand parents and they were thankful enough to have family to care for them in their last days but iv always taken care of people who didnt have that and no one deserves to be alone at the end of life. My goal is to help them enjoy their last days weather its talking, reading, playing games, coloring or just being there to have someone to sit with them. I am now certified as a PCA personal care aide as well as CPR I plan to go to school to further my education so i can also work in nursing homes. I worked with a boy with autism for 8 years as well. He became like my little brother. I dont mind working on either spectrum. As long as i can help make their lives a little easier and put a smile on their face then im doing what i aim to do.
