Throughout these years I've met and worked with a lot of interesting people, most who have since passed, but I remained with until the families decided they no longer wanted to keep them in the home for one reason or another and then I was on to my next one never forgetting the one that came before them. I enjoy my job because of the people that I have been lucky enough to come in contact with. I hear stories from other people about their clients and I say to myself, I haven't had those issues. I have never had a client that I did not get along with or just could not tolerate. My clients made it easy to enjoy going to work everyday and not look at it as just a job because I never made them feel like they didn't have a choice or a say in what was going on. I always made sure they knew they still had options everyday.

I went in to caregiving after I had worked for the federal service for 28 years. I always knew my calling was to be in this field but I became a mother young and then a single mother and did not go to school until my children were much older.
