I am a very genuine person with excellent listening and communication skills. Strong ability to anticipate peoples needs and accommodate them. Raised two beautiful children while also taking care of my aging mother until she passed. I am a people person and feel deeply for the aged and those who are not able. I enjoy helping people whether it be to feel better, or preparing meals or giving them independence through mobility. I've traveled the world and lived overseas for 20 years, graduated from University, landed great jobs, had my own business, but my most cherished achievements are my amazing children.

I've been a care giver for about 10 years now ever since I moved here to help my grandmother after her bypass heart surgery. Taking care of her definitely sparked something in me and I knew that I was meant for the medical field. Since then I've worked with about 100 families from private care to agencies &I also nursing home settings . I have taken care of many people with conditions such as dementia and Alzheimer's, cancer , stroke, arthritis. Etc. I have also done companion services & light housekeeping &a cooking . I am comfortable with pets and clients who smoke, though Not a smoker myself. I am available to work around my perdiem schedule at Marian hospital in Santa Maria &I I am available most nights .

I decided to be in the Medical field because it allows me to assist in the healing process. In this field I am able to be who I am at home, caring, respectful, hard working, sympathetic, organized, well mannered, reliable, and to be able to use my "mom" instincts.

I've worked as a caregiver/Companion for over ten years. Most of my time has been spent working in the privacy of my clients homes. I'm compassionate, trustworthy and reliable. I love what I do, I take pride in being a caregiver. It is very rewarding.

I became a caregiver first to my grandmother who suffered from Alzheimer's it's a very sad disease to watch. But we wanted what time she did have to be as good for her as possible. Older people have always had my respect. Ive grown up in such a different way when respect was part of life and I feel compelled to continue giving them respect when they can no longer do for themselves. To nurture ,love and give quality care for them as I'd want done for my loved ones and to keep them clean happy and well taken care of. I have since been with 7 other elders through the end of there lives and have seen a litany of different needs that have taught me alot about caretaking from clients with strokes, cancer, ALS, Parkinsons, complete bed bound,catheters, transfers, bed baths, toileting and handling prescription care. I've also completed the training available to me pertaining to Care Taking..Ive also had a background check and plenty of references.

I became a caregiver to help people that can no longer help themselves and I feel that I am great at it because I put all of myself into it and try my hardest to make everyone comfortable and help them with what they need.

I started a small LLC in 2014 which focuses on care giving while providing the opportunity for the client to enjoy going to visit family or taking a vacation.
