I am a open minded, emphatic, and understanding individual who is reliable. I have worked in child welfare. When I left the career, I brought one of my clients home to provide him with daily living services until he graduated high school and went off to college. I was a behavioral health case manager for individuals with severe and persistent mental illnesses. I assisted them 8n the areas of housing, finances, mental health, chemical dependency and social supports. During my college years, I worked as a caregiver for Home Instead. The agency allowed our Senior Clients to remain in their home while in recovery or simply struggling with various psychological and or physical disabilities. I love most to help individuals in what area they may need assistance in. A personal achievement I am most proud of is gaining a B.A. while being a single parent.

I am a very patient and understanding caregiver. My goal is to make anyone feel comfortable around me. I got my love for caregiving when my mom had open heart surgery. I was her caregiver majority of the time. I was doing caregiving for almost 2 years before the pandemic hit then i switched jobs to be a frontline health care worker. What I enjoy most about caregiving is building the relationships I do with individuals and helping with someone's every day needs. A personal achievement i am proud of is raising my own child. I am 24 years old.

I am a care giver at heart! I have always been the nurturer of the family. I have 17+ yrs experience with caring for the elderly. 13 of those years specializing in Alzheimer's and dementia care. I learned from my previous residents' that it's important to have a sense of humor in this field of work, which I can think I'm a comedian some days! I never knew this work was meant for me until it just fell into my lap one day and was told by many I was a natural. I find it very rewarding seeing my patient's happy, see someone relieved of their pain, or just making that special bond or friendship after earning their trust. Whether it be just for a moment in each day, to see that I made my patient's life a little bit easier for them-makes caregiving so worthwhile. Something I have achieved would be staying in this field of work for so many years. There are people that simply aren't capable of doing the "dirty work" that comes with the job title. I can admit sometimes there will be "bad days,"but will always realize that at the end of the day- the good outweighs the bad....

I am a 50 year old single mom. I am looking for work and interested in helping others. I have a degree in Social Work and would enjoy the opportunity to stay in my field of work of helping others.

A few things about me are I am an extremely outgoing person, I love to make people smile and feel joy! I became a caregiver soon after I became a mother because I developed a passion for helping others and bring laughter around. Being a caregiver is more than a job to me, my residents become my family and I love looking out for them. Being respectful to the client and the clients family and being respectful to their wishes My mom attracted me to be a caregiver she would take me to work and I would become good friends with the clients and their family Just being with the clients and hearing their stories and just able to help the clients and being able to be company to the clients and able to interact with the client. The achievement that I'm most proud of is that I have become a great caregiver to the elderly and love doing my job with the elderly just being with them is enjoyable. And I also like to learn different things that I might not know about that I can help with your loved one. I have 4 children and my husband. As a family like to go out and enjoy life.

I believe that my experience is part of what makes me a wonderful caregiver. Partly because my experience in caregiving includes caring for both of my parents, and my late husband, at the end of their lives. Experience, compassion and empathy create a well rounded caregiver which is what I have to offer. Empathy and compassion are some of the personality traits I have to offer. But to make a great caregiver you must include tolerance and an open mind to understanding the human condition and to be mindful of others points of view. My experience also comes with a strong educational background regarding the tasks and skill set required of a complete home health care provider and the individual needs of the clients I assist.
