I am one of a kind, since i have been young i have always wanted to help others..That why i picked my profession in healthcare, who wouldnt love me, im very friendly, loving, caring individual that light up a room.. what attracted me to being a caregiver is the joy in happiness i gave to the clients, patients, in there family by doing my job. What i love most is the clients in being there for them in making there day joyful in happy. Being in this field is an achievement for me just chnging peoples lifes in continuing to still be able to do that for other when they have nobody.

I'm 35 years old and have been a cna for 18 years I have a lot of passion for taking care of people who need help I'm a caring loving person and a big personal achievement of mine is my children and getting the best education and job opportunities that I can get them

I love helping others who need a little or a lot of assistance. I enjoy the happiness I see in the person's face when someone is willing to do something for them. I have a huge heart and compassionate one. I wanted to help people as much as I could after taking care of my mother after she had 2 strokes. I would do this out of pure love for her and would do the same for anyone else who needed it. I would hope that if I was to someday need any assistance , someone with a loving heart and compassion would do the same for me.

I love being able to make a difference in people's health but if also worked with hospice clients as well and the only difference with that is your job is to make them comfortable

I volunteered at Union Hospital for three summers before obtaining my CNA licenses in 2013. My grandmother had a double hip replacement and needed assistance with getting out of bed and just everyday life for several weeks. I took care of her and it opened my mind and heart to caring for others. I have been a CNA for 6 years and I learn more about it all the time of what it takes, how I can impact someones life. I enjoy making others smile when they do not feel like they can go on anymore. I have strong shoulders for family members to cry on and they have several times when a loved one passes.

I love helping people! It is a special thing for me to be able to offer my services for someone needing a little help with there normal activities! I enjoy meeting new people and hearing their stories! It's An honor for me to be able to be part of someone's life!

I believe I am a great care giver, I am compassionate about caring for others, I am punctual, professional, outgoing, honest and hard working. Honestly, I decided to be a CNA when my great grandma was in a long term care unit with not very many caring nor compassionate people working for her. Just feel everyone's grandma, grandma, mom or dad should be treated and cared for, like they would expect someone to take care of their own family member! The thing I enjoy the most about being a caregiver is the rewarding feeling you get when you help make someone's day a little better. The smile and appreciation from most is wonderful!

I am someone who grew up seeing my family lend a hand. Growing up my parents had a foster home, so we had lots of kids going in and out and some became permanent family. I think that started my love to take care of people. Also the inevitable, you grow up and in turn, the people around you grow old too. I visited nursing homes and saw the way they were treated and it wasn't always well. I loved babies growing up as well, was the family babysitters for years, until I could get a real job of course. You know they say that some people are meant to be nurses/caregivers. Because it's not meant for everyone. I genuinely love being of use to someone, to help, to see the gratitude people give when you're helping them or just being nice in general. I think being a caregiver has taught me life lessons. Being patient, and kind, and stop to say hello, ask how someone's day was, have small talk, just be humble and a genuinely good person. I've learned time management, multitasking, just how quick you can get attached to someone you never know before, and the power of helping others!
