I am a great caregiver because I care fully for the client. I follow all instructions to the letter and ask when unsure. I am attracted to caregiving because I am a caring person. My great grand parents were old and unwell; if only they had better care they would have lived just a little bit longer. I am attracted to caregiving because I think to hat I can make a difference. I enjoy being a companion to the elderly as well as fetching and bringing whatever it is they desire.

I am 19 years old. I have being a caregiver since I was 17. I love helping others. I enjoy assisting residents with their daily activities. It make me happy knowing they are happy and enjoying their day. I try and help out as much as I can because I know once upon a time they were my age.

What makes me a great caregiver is I love to work with residents and especially residents that have dementia. I enjoy the residents telling me about their lives from back in the day. I am very proud that I have two kids and going to college for cosmetology.

I believe what makes me a good caregiver is my compassion and understanding. This is in the nursing field as the career I would like to pursue in the near future. I enjoy most the bonding time. It's good to get to know who you'll be around that way you know how to please them. I have found what path I wanna pursue when I return to college, before I was lost.

At the age of sixteen I helped a family friend looking after there mother whom had alzheimer's. During that time I found what I was compassionate about and what I wanted to do for a living. I love being a caregiver I love help other's in need. To able to care for someone in need and I know they are getting the best care in my hands makes my day to see a smile on my patients face's of a sigh of thanks. Going back to school and get my Associate Degree. I am a very friendly down to earth women of 61 years young. I have a vast array of professional experiences from recovering patients straight from the operating room that have had open heart surgery to caring for newborns. I had to retire in 2004 because I became very ill with lymphedema and a very painful bladder disease called interstitial cystitis. Being severely ill has made me even more caring and compassionate for anyone suffering from any illness. I like to incorporate family into my patient care as much or as little as the family member is comfortable. I believe that God allowed me to become ill so that I could become a very compassionate care giver. I actually CARE for my patients.
