I have been a caregiver 40 years. Always had a good repore with elderly growing up. Being there to help a loved one played a major roll in my job. I've worked in Assisted living facilities, Nursing homes and absolutely love it. I've used machinery like hoyer lifts, and other things. I'd prefer to stay away from that and heavy lifting. I also had my own assisted living years ago in upstate Ny.. I'm very experienced and I make it my buisness to be punctual and dependable. I take pride in my skills and I do my very best at all times. Looking primarily for day shift or overnight.

Compassion. I have a caring heart , I can keep the client energized through tough times, motivate the client in order to improve the quality of care I offer. Meeting personal care needs like dressing or using the bathroom, is very much my expertise. I know trusting your loved to a stranger, can be overwhelming, but know you have the right person, Who is patient, and understand that when the client feels embarrassed, frustrated or angry as they grow less able to manage their personal need, I am there to consider their perspective and bring them the satisfaction they so desire. Hello, My name is Margaret. I laugh alot and I take my Clients very seriously. I am one person who love her work. I provide care to my recipients as I would love to be served, uncompromised care. My Clients means alot to me because I understand that I feed my family from what they pay me. Therefore, I sherish them and treat them with due respect. I have a background where I took care of my Grandfather for two good years, when he fell and became hemipledgic. I have loved taking care of Seniors ever since. 1993. In 2004, I did my CNA, and I have worked as a caregiver ever since. I have seen Seniors go through geriatric challenges and I have been a very close person to them, until when they leave this word. I have learnt to love and to provide care and support that they deserve until their last day. I am not bragging, but I have been a good friend to anyone who fell in my hands as a recipient. I have mostly done Private Care and also through Agencies. I enjoy what I do.

I enjoy working with people and I most enjoy jobs where I have one-on-one interaction with others. I enjoyed taking care of my elder family members and would like to help others in this way. I like older adults and feel I can get along well with a variety of elders. I like doing work that has the potential to make a difference in someone's life. I like doing a variety of tasks in a day. I don't ever say, "That's not my job" but instead like pitching in to do whatever is needed. I like making someone smile and doing little things to make a person's day better. I take pride in attending to detail.

I love helping others , no matter what the situation is . I will always make sure whoever is in my presence will always remain safe and taken care of . I love making others happy and safe around me . Getting to know others and understanding them is very important to me . When I was younger my grandfather had pelvic cancer and I was so close to him I didn't want to leave his side I would always go to his house and help him with whatever he needed even try to cook for him even though I was young and with me always wanting to help him made him smile and I just loved the feeling knowing I can care for someone and make them happy . That's why I love and have a passion for being a caregiver

Patients-People who need care often take longer to complete simple tasks. Humor-Finding something to laugh about can make a tough situation.Being present-know the importance of respecting their loved one's current abilities. Rather than focus on what your loved one can no longer do.

With the opportunity to assist others and being able to support someone brings joy to my day, not only is it good for me but others. I've always been the compassionate person caring for other even when I was teenager. Come up watching my mother and grandmother as nurses and childcare provider it became natural to me. So when started high school I enroll in Nurseing program pass with excellent grades during I class hours we went to nursing home for hand on experience I then new this was what I liked doing. During summer break of school I work at local nursing home facility also had to attend monthly educational inservices were I learn the RESIDENTS RIGHTS,HIPPA, BIOHAZARD POLICY and INFECTION CONTROL .

I'm loving I'm caring I'm patient I been doing this type of work since 2013. My first job was taking care of my supervisor's mother before she past. I enjoy my blessing.
