I been working in the home health care field well over 10 years now. I'm very supportive and caring. I've been fortunate to work with some great families in the Ann Arbor communities and beyond. I love being able to put smiles on others faces and just being there to lend a helping hand at times for others in need. I'm extremely dependable, compassionate,and nurturing. I was a Certified CNA over Twenty-Five years of experience in nursing homes and Home Health Care the reason I no longer have my CNA license is because I was caring for a sweet lady for the past 7yrs until my sweet angel passed away this past July I was her main caregiver and I no longer felt there was a need for a CNA license because I will no longer be working in the nursing homes facility I enjoy the Home setting better to give one on one love and professional care in the home I am a very caring and respectful including family values and morals and I am compassionate and I have a very big heart in helping others that's what attracted me to care for others I am a very prompt person I know it is important to be on time especially if someone is depending on you I consider myself a five star Home care Aide I have good job reference from past employment and current employer and good family recommendations

Hello I'm Chelsae I started my caregiver career 4 years ago for my grandmother with Brain cancer , I hired in and worked side by side everyday with the caregivers from Care Linx. I have experience with lifting the patient with a gate belt and Hoyer lift. I have work with physical therapy , small fine motors with clay and play dough . And sight seeing with puzzles and matching games . I have been told by previous clients that I am a great cook ! I can also help assist with in-continents, and can provide a professional and efficient environment for this uncomfortable situation. I also have experience with catheters , cleaning and bag changes as well as a Pure-wick. I am very tidy and organized. I am also very friendly and love to take"field trips" ! I have been a care giver for over 10yrs I made this choice for my profession because of the empathy and compassion my heart holds for those who are in need. I know in some cases the type of care might be different and require special attention based on the individual. I'm experienced in caring for people who are Visually impaired,Physically or mentally Disabled, Alzheimer's disease,Dementia,Parkinson's disease, M.S. and those who are in Hospice Care. In addition to my certifications I am a certified CNA ( Certified Nurse's Assistant) I enjoy bringing my positive, care free spirit in the environment of the person I'm caring for. I know their lives have been altered in so many ways and my only hope is to help provide them with the upmost care, love and guidance. I hope to help them through their bad day's and make their good days filled with joy and comfort. For me that's the satisfaction I get out of being a care giver.

I feel what makes me a great caregiver are a few reasons: I'm experienced in this field, I'm patient and I know what to expect and how to handle whatever occurs from the job. I became a caregiver because it was similar to the very first job I had, which was a patient attendant at U of M Hospital, that was a rewarding job that I enjoyed, and ever since then I've been in this field most of my time working.
