I have always been a caring and compassionate person. I started my medical career as an army medic. I then became a paramedic and have continued to help people of all ages and medical conditions in many different settings. As a registered nurse I have been able to continue to provide care in the emergency room, long term care facility and urgent care. I love to meet new people. I find that most people can find something in common to talk about. I am very proud of my son, and enjoy living close to family.

Having two years of experience being a program coordinator prompt me with better community engagement and customer service. I have decided to become a caregiver because I enjoy helping others. I am currently seeking a degree in nursing and looking to gain some experience as a caregiver. I have been working as a CNA for the past 4 months and have enjoyed and excelled in my job. I enjoy getting to know my patients and suspect their needs.

I'm an experienced caregiver currently searching for the next assignment. I have experience working with elderly people including those with dementia. I worked in California (San Francisco, Palo Alto, Red Wood city) . I have been recognized for my ability to relate and to find a good contact with my clients. I learn about their interests and hobbies and support them. I like to listen to their life stories and make them feel appreciated. One man from my previous work (he was 86, Alzheimer) and he spoke three languages. He has many books and we spend a lot of time in his library. Another, my client, was a teacher and I wrote on a computer the stories of her life. The third man has an advanced form of dementia and I took care of his basic needs. I cherish those experiences and each of them makes me a better caregiver. I wanted to let you know that I like what I do.

I believe I'm a great caregiver because I truly have my patients best interest at heart to me they are family!I have always loved to help people and care for them even at a young age , that feeling never left me and followed me into adulthood. I enjoy being a caregiver because it gives me a great feeling to know that someone may need me later on in life and I can provide them with companionship, love and generally with whatever they may need. I'm proud that I can lend my hands and heart to someone that may need me as much as I need them.

I love to help people. Its my passion as was my mom's and my grandmothers. My family comes from a long line of nurses. I'm responsible, loving, caring, and passionate about my job and making others feel comfortable. Alot of people tell me I'm hilarious but I don't see it. I really enjoy the stories and life lessons you can learn from just listening to the patients and once in a whileit puts courage in me too do the impossible. Some people think of a male caregiver as akward, but I think we need more Male nurses in the world.

I'm passionate, considerate, possesses integrity, always on time, go above and beyond expectations. Love taking care of the elderly because they have interesting stories to tell. I just love helping people. I enjoy the activities that we can do together like gardening and other hobbies. I'm proud of being me and how far I've come. You will always catch me with a positive attitude, and I love to make people laugh.

I am a caregiver because I was in Veterinary Medicine for 25 years and each day it would take patience and understanding not only for the animal but for the owner as well. I always enjoyed talking with our clients and had close bonds with them over the years. I love talking with people, cleaning and tidying up and errand running. I am extremely proud of being able to manage a practice and was part of a great team for many years until my husband and I retired to Michigan.
