I have been a reliable and trustworthy caregiver and Certified Nursing Assistant II for 10 years. I have a lot of empathy and want to make a difference for someone who needs my help.

What makes me a great caregiver is my ability to empathize and understand just about anyone. I have always loved helping people so to be able to do that everyday is very rewarding. I am compassionate, kind, paitent and very reliable. I Am a very optimistic person I strive to see the good in any situation. i've been working with the elder mostly all of my life I love being a caretaker I am a mother of two and I deeply understand the that everyone deserves love and attention .

A little about me I am a student here in Jacksonville I got to miller motte college I am enrolled in medical assistant. I am also a military family (Wife) I have a daughter and I'm a hard worker. I love what I do as a caregiver/home aide. I have been doing it for 6 years on and off . I also have been a nursing assistant at hospital nursing homes etc for 3. I have experience in everything including dementia, limb removal, hospice care more.

I'm a very cheerful person who enjoys caring for others. I became a caregiver in 2018 and thought I'm not sure if this is for me but we will see! Well 4 almost 5 years Later I love what I do no matter the person, age or problems they have Being able to help someone and be their friend at the same time make me enjoy my work much more. Being a healthcare worker is more than just a job/career to me it's my life and I enjoy every bit of it. My most recent achievement I am proud of as a caregiver was helping an elderly lady a couple of houses down from me and she had fallen outside there was no one around to help her at the time, my family and I had come home from a night out so I put my children in the house and ran over to make sure she was okay and proceeded to help her up check her scratches and bruises out and help her inside her home. It was actually the same lady who gave me a hard time at one point but that time nothing else mattered.

Others as well ad myself would say that I am a very outgoing and optimistic individual. I love to laugh and bring joy to others in any way that I can. My passion for caregiving began when I was a young girl. Always wanting to help others. The things I enjoy most is feeling and knowing that I somehow accomplished helping someone's day be better.

I enjoy helping the community and serving seniors in living independently.

I'm 36 years old. I have been doing caregiver for 3 years now and I have enjoyed all 3 years. My passion for being a caregiver came from my grandmother, I was her caregiver for a while so I would say I've learned from the best. I treat all my clients as if they was my family and most of all I give and show them love and that they are safe in my care.

Personality traits that I have that make me a great care giver are; Patience, compassionate, and Attentiveness. I love the bond that I create with each and every resident I work with. A personal achievement that I am proud of is getting myself enrolled and taking college courses.
