I have worked in Healthcare for almost 9 years. I started very young & I enjoy working with people and helping them with anything they would need. It definitely makes me feel good knowing that I'm a very reliable person & someone can count on me.

I love helping the elderly. I have worked in a nursing home and I absolutely loved it. While working in the nursing home I collected certificates in dementia, Alzheimer's , and proper care for elders. I mainly worked in the memory unit. My love for helping the elderly since I was a kid played a huge part in wanting me to be a caregiver. I just have a heart for helping. The thing I like most about being a caregiver is being able to listen when they give advice and I love doing thier hair and making them look nice. A personal achievement I'm proud of is my prayer life. It has gotten so much better than before. I always keep God first.

I want to come to work happy and leave happy! I have 6 months experience as being a CNA at a nursing home. I assist with ADL, bathing, showers, feeding, mail care, hair care, catheter care, perineal care, cleaning,, using lifts to transfer , changing occupied and unoccupied beds, charting , weights, changing briefs, assisting residents to the rest room using a transfer belt or walker, cleaning out bedside commode.
