I am a consistent, hard worker, I pay attention to detail and I work with empathy and compassion everyday. My grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's 4 years ago and I have been taking care of her ever since, this is why I am drawn to caregiving. I understand that some people just need help and there's nothing wrong with that, I would love to be the person to do it. I enjoy spending time with different individuals and making their day better. One accomplishment I am proud of is achieving my private pilot license.

My personality is warm , outgoing , loving i wanted to be a caregiver since because i took care of my dad at the age of 18 and i love being able to do good and help people i enjoy do what i do because u never know what kind of impact you can have on a person for taking care of them or helping in anyway

Let me start by telling you how I got into health care. My mother Died in 2017 and it made me want to be a CNA so I could help take care of other peoples parents and grand parents being I'll never get the oppurtunity to take care of my mother in her elderly years. Im a mother to 4 wonderful children who i spend all my time with when im not working to improve our lives. I enjoy being around the elderly and taking care of them. I love listening to their stories of how they grew up and learning from their past experinces. I think the achievement im most proud of is pushing myself to go to school to be a CNA. I look forward to going back and getting my CNA 2 and medication certificate.

I have been working as a Care giver for 15 years. I enjoy working with and caring for the elderly. I'm empathetic, dedicated and very attentive. I enjoy being a companion, listening to their stories and doing activities that they enjoy. Making sure that they are well kept and loved. I have 22 years RN experience in medical and surgical nursing in the hospital setting as well as 8 years in home health and hospice. My assessment of subtle changes in a client's condition and comfort in providing care in homes is a bonus to my basic caregiving skills of safely bathing, transfering, and interacting with clients of all ages and debility. You wonder why I am not looking for a RN job? I no longer want to deal with the endless paperwork and little actual client contact involved with nursing today. However, I am a caregiver at heart and still want to serve people, especially the elderly, who need assistance. My personality is respectful and somewhat reserved, but i enjoy listening and talking about family, life experiences, etc. I have done much work with and continuing education regarding people with dementia, behavioral challenges, and mental disorders. I do only want to work part time for now.

Im a positive outgoing person and full of energy maybe to much. That's one of the reasons why I feel I can make a difference in others lives. I have enough positivity and energy to share with everyone. While being in highschool I took a nursing class which allowed me to volunteer at the nursing home near my school which was amazing to me ! Everyone said I loved it way more than I should but they don't get to see the most amazing things that come from helping others! I also went to a elementary school that was down the road from my school which allowed me to volunteer with special education and pre development with pre schoolers. That also was so amazing im so lucky I had the chance to do that and or be allowed. So with all that I decided to go to Tide Water Community college in Virginia Beach and get my CNA. Which was the best choice I ever made. I will be finished by October 31 or November 10 we're waiting for an evaluator to pick up our testing date. While taking this class I have been doing clinicals at a nursing home near the school. I wasn't there long and after two days I had already fallen in love with all the residents. I love helping people and Its something that comes naturally to me. I love how they become family and to me it's helping me learn how to appreciate the little things in life. You also meet amazing people that having amazing story's. So I hope that you take me in to consideration because I promise I'll treat your family like it's my own.
