I love seeing people smile an enjoy life to the fullest. I became a caregiver back in 2011 when my grandfather's health went down hill but fast. Growing up I use to go visit my Nanna at the nursing home an seeing how so many didn't have visitors I decided to talk to the owner to see if we could do a craft an music day to get everyone involved. An seeing those from all around the agency helping an all the smiles it had to bring I knew I couldn't stop there. I helped my grandfather be able to live his life to the max untill he was called home. An id love to be able to help others do so as well.

I enjoy being with people, and helping them. I feel our basic concept is to help others that need it, to better them, & to better ourselves in doing so. I feel I'm at my best when I'm able to extend kindness, compassion, & respect to others, & to help them live as comfortable as posdible.

I am a US Navy Veteran and i have a husband and two kids. I love being a caregiver. I have family members that have diabetes, gastroparesis, MS, etc.

I have been in the caregiving field for 4 years. Not only do I have experience professionally but personally. My grandparents lived with me when my grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and my grandfather was diagnosed with dementia. Growing up my mother was an activities director at a nursing home and during the summer I would go to work with her. I always loved getting to know the people and hearing their stories! Some of my hobbies are crocheting, jigsaw puzzles, and gardening.
