I try to aim high with making clients and family comfortable being around. I love laughing and talking. I became a caregiver because I love God's people and serving others. I enjoy my clients being happy with me and the care I give. And for me to see them comfortable around me. The personal achievement I am proud of is when I had the honor and privilege to take care of some of Houston's finest clients. And I was able to be there until the end of their life stage. Hello, my name is Natasha Gallaway and i have 13 years of experience in total care for clients. I have experience in bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, repositioning, transfers, ADL's, toileting, check and change. I love being able to be of help to others and knowing that i made a difference in someone's life at the end of the day.

I have always been passionate about making the lives of those I care for owing to my experience in clinical practice as a an LVN/LPN licensed Nurse and a volunteering work in healthcare in which I have managed the aged and elderly and built a wonderful relationship with them which has helped the outcome of daily living, much improved. Owing to this experience, its been my passion to continue on such opportunities to provide quality care for my clients to make their lives much better.

I consider myself blessed to have a connection with the elderly. When I was a 14 yrs old had the most amazing bond with the 93 year old mother of our church and I will never forget her. I personally feel responsible for the helpless ; I didn't know I needed a reason why. However, I have realized it's not for everyone. I take pride in the connection and the ability to bond with a person in need of understanding and compassion. I now consider it a gift and I am humbly grateful.

What makes me a great caregiver is that I am able to relate to the needs of my clients base on individuality. I am very compassionate towards my clients. I try my very best to understand their needs and find a solution to it. I became a caregiver not only to help people who are at a disadvantage but rather because I care about people and enjoy being a part of their lives. For many years I've lived away from my father, but the moment I received a phone call that he had a stroke I dropped everything and went to care for him until he recovered. That alone shows how caring and concern I am about people who are unable to care for themselves. What I like about being a caregiver is the fact that I am able to bring a smile on the faces of my clients no matter what moods they are in for that particular day. I go to an extended mile to make sure that their needs are met and that they are taken good care of and happy. One personal achievement I am proud of is being able to graduate college. Both my parents are illiterate and for me to be the first out of four siblings to go to college and graduate was a very good accomplishment for me. And with what I have learned and experience I will continue to strive in what I love the most; that is helping people.

I became a caregiver when my mother fell ill, and I took on the role of her provider. After she passed away, I felt a deep desire to dedicate myself to helping others. I know that one day I, too, will need assistance, and I hope to receive the same compassionate care. As a caregiver, I've learned to give my all and truly understand the importance of patience, empathy, and dedication in caring for others.
