In short, I chose to work as a caregiver because it has always been a dream of mine and since caring for people comes naturally to me and what more can you ask for professionally than to do something you love. *What make me happy about being a caregiver is the ability to make my client feel cared for. *I am personally proud of the friends I have made so far. I am happy to know that there is someone I out there that I have succeeded in touching their life one way or the other.

My favorite thing about being a caretaker is being the person the clients trust and seeing them open up and learning who they are. I love hearing stories or jokes about their life or how they see things. One personal achievement I have is I created an activity club with over 100 activities to choose from ; to help kill time and occupy the individuals at the vocational center. I got a lot of recognition for it!

I am currently a Patient Care Tech at St. Anthony's Hospital (BayCare Health) were I have the opportunities to feel and see the difference, I contribute in restoring patients to their health; to be apart of patients health care it is amazing feeling that brings joy to my heart. I become a caregiver to make difference in people in life, by providing interactive way to restores independences of one life and thus help patients feels happier when achieving their moto skills and gives them the confidence they needed to believe in their self again. My personal achievement that I am proud of is when I am with COVID patients on the hospital floor and seeing most of these patients came in can't breath and walk because their are too and has be oxygen , and see these patient restore back to help is my most proud moments in life .

I am a very caring person, sensitive to people's condition and do my work diligently making sure that the privacy of my clients is always protected. As I looked after my nun with a stroke till she passed, I got drawn more to offering more help to people who need them most. I enjoy talking and listening to various stories of my clients since they are very insightful and my personal achievement was when I had to do a CPR on someone to prevent death.
