Hi, thanks for looking at my profile. I took care of my stepmom for many years. She was wheelchair bound, a stroke patient, and a diabetic. She had depression issues she was on medication for. I helped her with bathing, dressing, washing her hair, giving her medications/insulin injections, meal prep, errands, transportation to her appts. I have certification in CPR/First Aid from my FL Class D Security Officer License course. I am presently taking Carelinx courses to better myself for the Caregiver position. We have a mini farm we are slowly getting more serious about becoming growing more of our own food. We are trying to plant more fruit trees and get our bee's figured out. The reason I am not a nurse anymore is due to want to give back to personal my way help people who want and need a trusted loving heart healthcare caregiver with medical background. I am very much animal lover of my fur kids. I have 3 fur kids mollie (English long legged )and rebel (typical ones seen short legs great jumpers) both Jack's different types. Our new fur kid is dixie Belgian Malinois my husband is training her. My husband is local police officer.

I'm very friendly and love spending time with people and getting to know them. A reason I want to be a care giver is my mom was diagnosed with terminal cancer and I was the main one taking care of her. It was a lot of work but she needed someone by her side through it all helping her and I was that person. I want to help other people take care of their loved ones because I have lots of experience with taking care of loved ones who are sick. I love helping others and want to do that anyway that I can.

I do travel with them and provide help in their home as they live independently. I am very trustworthy and dependable. I also have a lot of respect for the elderly which attracts me to being a caregiver. I hope to make someone's life much easier with some assistance from myself. I spent many years after my father passed away from cancer as a hospice volunteer. In addition, I have done companion care for several seniors over the last 20 years.
