I enjoy working with people and most enjoy jobs where you have one-on-one interaction with others. I enjoyed taking care of elder family members and would like to help others in this way. I like older adults and feel I can get along well with a variety of elders. My three grandmothers is why I started my career in caregiving.!

I love being there and caring for people, I prefer being there to assist someone and making them feel better and stronger. What I enjoy most about caregiving is helping someone with their independence, making someone feel better about themselves and just helping someone have a better grateful day. My personal trait that I'm proud of is being able to put in all my effort to make someone's day beyond better, whatever it is I need to do for someone I'm there to do the most I am able to.

My role as a caregiver initially started when I was 17. My Grandmother broke her hip and I lived with her to help her live independently in her own home again. This was not a paid position but one out of love and respect for my grandmother. 13 years later she was my Maid of honor, danced down the aisle at my wedding, at the age of 87. I've always enjoyed working with people in various stages of their lives. About 4 years ago, I became very ill and after 3 hospitalizations, I was transferred to a nursing home for a month. I had to learn to walk again. That experience reminded me of seeing various emotions of my grandmother when I was 17. However, this time it was me that was in her shoes, except I was at the mercy of strangers. I now understood the roller coaster of emotions that my grandmother verbalized. I made many friends in my stay at the nursing home. It was actually very sad when I left. My friends I made there wanted me to stay and work there....both clients and staff. That was when I decided to become a caregiver to help others continue to live independently in their own homes. I love what I do. I know my clients enjoy my presence in their lives. And that feeling has no price tag.

Personalities I have is very friendly and patient, I love helping others! I enjoy watching others complete a task while I'm there every step of the way. Being a CNA is one of my proudest achievements!

I'm a very outgoing person that loves to talk to others about anything and everything. I enjoy taking care of others and doing my best in making them as comfortable as possible and feel cared for. A personal achievement that I'm proud of is how many times my patients/residents tell me how caring I truly am. These people see so many faces and know how cares about their jobs versus who don't, and to be remembered and appreciated is the most rewarding thing to me.

What makes me great caregiver is my patients, empathy and compassion. I understand that slowing down is a process of aging. Allow elderly to move at their own pace without making them feel like they are being rushed provides them with the sense of independence. I do care about their concerns and frustrations due to their life changes. I am dependable and I understand the importance of being on time and prepared to preform schedule duties. I am positive and happy person who enjoys helping others and love to make others smile! :)

Hello! My name is Tea! I've been doing caregiving for about a little over a year. I've worked in facilities and in homes in the past. I truly love what I do and just making a clients day better in any way that I can! I started caregiving due to me taking care of my grandparent a couple years ago and I just really loved making her feel like she mattered and just making her everyday needs easier for her! Since then I knew I always wanted to help others in that way, just to see someone smile or knowing that I've made someones day easier just lights my day up. I'm really proud of the things i've accomplished while caregiving and the people i've met. It just makes it all worth it in the end.
