I'm reliable, caring , patient,honest, hardworking. I've been doing home care since 2010. I've worked with seniors as well as clients with disabilities. I enjoy caring and helping out. I find my job very rewarding and can't picture myself doing anything else. I enjoy the one on one care and gaining a relationship with my clients.

Always happy with my residents show love and care for them. Something that has drawn me to caregiving was having recent family members needing care and see how good I would help them made me choose the caregiving career. Something I enjoy about caregiving is creating a bond w someone new, hearing about their past life, learning about one another. Some personal achievements I'm proud of is going to school to be a Certified nurse aid.!

i understand how the person im, helping feels, i am very compassent, i am able to follow insturctions. i love to listen to people, tell me there story,i am not affraid of hard work, i don't rush when i am, working with a person. i have no problems being told, to do a task over, i got started as a care giver, when a family member got alzheimers, and it made me realize that older folks, didnt ask to get old, or get treated like they had no feelings.. i love being able to sit and visit and listen to, the older folks, talk about there life and past...

I am a recently retired teacher with a passion for elder care. I understand that families are busy and don't always have the time to take care of some of the daily needs of their aging family members. I am happy to run errands as needed or provide transportation for your senior for trips to the grocery store, general shopping, hair appointments, doctor visits, lunch dates or a trip to the ice cream parlor. I am available to accompany your senior to doctors appointments to listen, ask questions and take notes if needed. I also provide meal prep, housekeeping and companionship. I am not a medical professional but I am Red Cross certified in CPR and AED. I I am a mother of three grown sons, grandmother to two littles and the daughter of an 85-year-old mother. I enjoy talking my mother and her sisters on fun little day trips. They are all have limited mobility and have visual and hearing challenges. But they still love to get together and have a great time.

I am from Lawrence, KS but currently followed my husband to Seattle for the summer for his architecture internship. I am looking for a part-time or full-time caregiver position during the weekdays. I absolutely love meeting people, learning their stories and spending time with them. I would have to say my strengths are patience, creativity, compassion and flexibility. I am a caregiver because it is something I have found to unexpectedly be meant to do in life. I practice strict covid quarantine precautions to keep my patients safe and am on the list for a vaccine during stage two.
