Well I always say the good lord made me for this I have a big heart my residents always called me smiley which I try to always keep know matter how I may feel .I love the elderly there stories just putting a smile on there face ..Well the girls woukd cone get me if they couldn't understand someone because I could just knowing I helped someone and made there day better was always a good day for me .

Hi! I'm Channing. Growing up, I was constantly responsible for my two younger siblings which planted a passion for caregiving within me. As I got older, caring for my grandparents showed me a different side of caregiving that I loved even more. My parents are both doctors. I grew up around the medical field, seeing people be taken care of. Although I am not a certified medical professional in any way, I know the ins-and-outs of the medical system and how to manage patient care from my experience working in a Physician's office. While self-employed as a photographer, I found that my greatest passion was lifting others up in whatever way that I could. I am looking for someone to spend my time with that needs an extra pick-me-up from day to day.

I am a very patient and understanding person. I take time to get to know the resident or patient. I try to understand their condition and needs on a personal level, in order to find the best approach. I am a very strong and hard working individual that has a very strong love for the nursing field. I enjoy it when I gain the respect and love of the resident/Patient. I'm am proud to say that my greatest achievements is that I have always been able to maintain a positive relationship with all of my residents . As a Nurse aide I provide direct patient care in nursing homes and in other settings such as hospital long-term care wards, community rehabilitation or private home settings. Duties can include taking vital signs, assisting residents to move about the home or facility, helping them manage their meals and use bathroom facilities, transferring, turning, lifting or positioning bedridden patients, offering emotional support, rehabilitative exercises, bathing, grooming, feeding, and all other aspects of care as allowed by state laws and regulations.

My name is Sara i am a 28 year old young lady with lots of experience in caring for others. In addition to caring for my four children, I has worked at Laurel Heights Home for the Elderly and currently works part-time for Inspired Living, which is a facility for mentally disabled individuals. I am certified in Medication Administration, CPR. I have worked in the health care field for the past three years and am a caring and compassionate person that will treat your loved one with the respect and dignity they deserve. I always say, "I always think 'how would I want my grandparent, parent, or child treated' and treat others the way I would want my loved ones to be treated."

The main reason why I chose to become a caregiver is because I was raised by my great-grandparents, and someday when they can no longer give care to themselves, I wanted to have the training and experience to help them along in their time of need. I enjoy bonding with and getting to know the person(s) I take care of. I've found that making a connection helps the person(s) to feel more comfortable and at ease when receiving care.

I am a hardworking, dependable and reliable professional and upbeat employee. I enjoy working and I have a big heart for working and helping others. I have been a CNA since 2013, & recently just bought our first home in Kentucky. Just moved here from NC, so I currently am working on getting my Cna license back!

In 2001-2006 I worked at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington KY. Within 8 months I was chosen to train all new and current Unit Clerks that was a big achievement for me considering some employees had be employed with the hospital for 10yrs. I love helping people I've always had a big heart. It makes me feel good to know just something little, I've done has helped another person in their day. I do have a lot of patience because when people are not able to do the things they once could do or their memory isn't the same. It's natural to be frustrated and I don't let that frustration bother me, you have to have a lot of patience and calmness.
