I love my job because I enjoy working with elderly people and enjoy their company. I love to stay busy and focus on what needs to be done. I love my career providing basic needs to people that makes a difference in their life.

I've been a CNA for over 29 yrs. I've worked with different clients. I am compassionate, patient and understanding.

I believe I am a great caregiver as I am outgoing and friendly. I enjoy helping out others, especially the elderly and disabled. I am also always punctual and dependable.

My passion is to care for people, I love being around ppl and listening to there stories they have to tell. I'm a very quiet happy person love to make ppl smile. I've been in the nursing field since 2003 and love it.

I am a retired physical therapist assistant. My background is primarily in geriatric rehabilitation, wound care, stroke recovery, exercise programs, ambulatory activities, etc. I have recently been employed as a home health care aide. Duties include: light house keeping, meal preparation, exercise, and medication reminders. I also have been trained in both crisis intervention and grief counseling.

I am a people person and people friendly. My husband says I'm an acquired taste and unique. I have my own personality. I love the elderly I took care of a lot of people starting with my aunt my nephew my grandma and then so on

Im a nice kind gentle person who loves to talk to other people and being able to people is what i love about a caregiver. I love learning from older people.

Im a great caregiver because i love working with the elderly and i have many years of experience. The thing i enjoy most about being a caregiver is taking care of the elderly and seeing smiles i put on there face.

With my love of helping people - placing dignity and respect for my elders and my never-ending passion for learning into practice, I became a caregiver. My first ever client taught me how to take one's time in remembering where we come from while cutting the grass with scissors. (Note I never let them cut the grass themselves, but they really wanted even blades of grass- I wanted them to smile.) My person had Alzheimer's but didn't let that stop them from living as freely as possible. Currently, I help children who are wards of the state go into kinship homes with a family caregiver, but I miss caring for someone myself and would love to do so with an individual while I work with the children too. I am allergic to cats and cannot change litter boxes.

**UPDATE 10/2020 I am not taking any shifts for now as I have taken on full time homeschooling my two sons. I will update this profile once I am back in the field. Unfortunately at this point, my boys go everywhere with me therefore the only job types I accept are those in which I can bring them with me. I'm sorry for the inconvenience, I hope to return to the normal job hunt soon. Thank you! I'm a head strong mother of 3, entrepreneur, and wife! My passion comes with my personality of always being a "momma hen" which is what I love and why I'm great at...taking care of people. I strive for the best care of my patients and treat them as my own family because ultimately that's what they become, an extension of your heart and life. I have a very wide and extensive knowledge in all areas of care from nursing home long term care to hospital emergency room and pre/post surgical patients. I am very confident that I am a good fit for any patient and want to make sure that their family members feel that confidence in hiring me for their loved ones care. (Currently in the process of renewing my CNA license for record and will update that updated expiration date ASAP. Please keep posted.) My availability as of right now is Monday- Friday 7am-5pm and this is subject to change and willing to negotiate other shifts when I have availability. Just talk to me and let me know and if I can take the shift you need I will. I have worked graveyards before so I'm not opposed but being as though I have young children I prefer to stick to day shifts. I absolutely look forward to hearing from you!!!
