What makes me a great caregiver, is the love and passion I have to be one to care for another. I strongly believe in giving our elders the opportunity to stay within their comfort zone of living and having a companion to talk/walk with rather it's day or night, give a piece of mind to assure them they're not alone and set your worries free for some hours knowing that your love is safe. My grandmother was my heart and soul I got into the healthcare industry because of her she became ill diabetic I lost her in 2007 but hasn't been the same without her I get my passionate love for my clients from her I'm always the one trying to find new things to learn and to help people I have a big heart I love hearing stories of couples been together for 60 years Love hearing war stories etc. I enjoy knowing that my clients are safe and loved I am all about respect I've learned a lot over the years a lot of people don't have no one and someone like myself may be the only visitor that they might get I take pride in what I do and I love it I am very proud of who I am today comes pure genuine love for what I do I take a vantage of life as much as I can I love my family I love to travel it's never too late to learn new things

I became a caregiver because I feel like everyone deserves to be happy. I became a caregiver because I take pride in uplifting and inspiring other's while keeping myself positive and afloat to recycle love in a community. I love being a caregiver because the love you receive from caring for someone can help you be a better and greater person on a daily. A personal achievement I accomplished was to actually be able to tell my own mother no she can't smoke as I care for her cause she had 2 strokes and not feel bad about it because I know it's not good for her health. So while redirecting the consumers and giving them great advice on health issues comes from within.

I enjoy working with people. I treat people with the respect and love they deserve. For my graduate degree I majored in Social Work and Gerontology because I wanted to learn how to serve people better.. In order to paid for my education I worked as a care giver. I loved caring for people and learned so much from the monthly training conducted by professionals in the health care field. When I did my first internships at a center for seniors. I had such a great time working with members of the elderly population that I decided to continue working in that area. I mostly enjoy caring for others, giving back to those who served others in many ways during their younger years or when they were physically capable to do so. Its my way of giving back to the community. I get a great sense of satisfaction when I help someone recover, achieve the best in live possible with the physical and/or mental limitations they gave. And from hearing how thankful the patients and relatives are for the level of service I have provided.

I have always had a passion for care giving.I enjoy caring for individuals.I,am frist aid &CPR trained certified,CNA,certifed Experienced in wound care,can operate a nebulizer machine,i enjoy being a caregiver for me it's not just a job ,it's another way to connect to people that can't do for them self.my personal achievement ,my neice was born 3 months premature,i worked with u of m Doctors & nurses to learn the best way to care for at home.
