I have dedicated my life to helping others. My background includes providing care to seniors with limited mobility, terminal illnesses ,strokes, dementia, and Alzheimer's disease. In these roles, I consistently team with family members, case managers, hospice and assisted living staff to create an environment conducive to the seniors' physical and mental health. I use a person-centered approach. Learning more about seniors and their needs is important, therefore, I frequently attend pertinent training and classes. I am: FULLY VACCINATED and boosted from COVID 19, certified in CPR and First Aid. I have a flexible schedule which allows me to work part time or full time . WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT CAREGIVER? I have a very upbeat attitude. I am very caring, compassionate, patient and I have a huge heart. I stay professional while I am on the job and I take my role as a caregiver very seriously. I like to know the one I am assisting is comfortable and happy, if they are feeling down, I do what I can to make sure they are having a wonderful day and always have a smile on their face. WHY DID YOU COME A CAREGIVER? I became a caregiver because I love helping others. I grew up in the life of taking care of people. I have watched/helped my mom when she was working in the hospital. I assisted my grandmother in helping others in her community. I have babysat for many friends and family members. WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT BEING A CAREGIVER? Its not that I like being a caregiver, I LOVE being a caregiver. Knowing I am making a difference in someone's life and helping them with anything/everything they need is the best. My goal is make sure that by the time my shift is over, they are smiling and happy. WHAT IS A PERSONAL ACHIEVEMENT YOU ARE PROUD OF?? my personal achievement I am very proud of was being told that I had made a big impact on two of the clients I was taking care of. I was informed when they were told I was coming on shift they would start smiling and make sweet comments about how I did my job and well I took care of them. Too me that was the sweetest thing and yet most rewarding part of my job.

At a young age I would take care of my grandparents and be there for my parents. I see myself as a caring person, very patient, I enjoy helping out, taking the time to listen and making peoples day. I'm a very positive person. I believe my personal achievement is when I see the client happy and being there.

hello, My name is Saraya and I have been working in the healthcare field for the last 5 years as a Cna. Working in healthcare has always been something I have been very compassionate about since highschool, after helping take care of my grandfather for 2 years. After that I knew healthcare was going to be something I spent the rest of my life doing and I have enjoyed it ever since, What I enjoy most about working as a caregiver is the bond I get to build with each of my clients and there family which truly enhances the care they receive as it helps me learn everything they like, don't like and exactly how they like things done and set up, and leaves room for open communication from the client and the family. I am a very open minded, caring, honest and dependable person. I get along with almost everybody. I work hard to ensure my clients are well taken care of and that they are happy with the care they are receiving. I will and always have gone above and beyond for my clients to make sue they receive the best care with the highest from of professionalism, dignity and grace! . I currently work with a company doing homehealth caregiving and its by far my favorite job.

Been a caregiver for 8 years now, so I can be kind of pushy when it is necessary for motivation, but i also know when being pushy is to much for others. I enjoy helping others achieve goals and feel good about them selves, and give 100% at any occupation, and try to learn new from my clients as well. Having alot of sickness in my personal family life is what inspired me to become a care giver. Helping people in need has always been my calling, have always had a deep instinct of others well being. I attended 8 months of a 15 month medical assistance school in 2015. Would have gladly finished but the school shut down in town. Im proud of the achievement of having this career for so long, to get to know it so well, with more to come. Just growing and learning everyday is a great achievment.

I am a very dedicated worker. I never call out and I'm very passionate with helping people. I try my best to go above and beyond to be the best caregiver and employee! When I first started caregiving I didn't think I would like it but I fell in love with it! I think what I liked the most is seeing hope on residents faces to have help through a difficult time. And the greatest achievement would be having the family thank me for helping their mom or dad.

I love helping people. I am very compassionate and patient. I have a passion for the elderly and think they should be treated with dignity and respect. I love to listen to stories of days gone by and learn from their experience. Not only do I feel I can enrich these peoples lives, I feel I am enriched as well. I initially went int the field of Medical Assisting in order to make a difference in the lives of our older population. As a child of seven I started doing volunteer work with my grandmother at nursing homes. This has continued throughout my lifetime. As a young mother I took my babies to visit the patient/residents of nursing homes that did not get visitors. While I was earning my degree I worked at an assisted living at night. I especially enjoyed being in the dementia unit. After I completed my degree I moved to Lincoln City to be near my mother who is not in good health. She has a caregiver and I am here as her daughter. I do help out to give my father and her caregiver a break.

I try to be very understanding and patient. I always keep a positive attitude and smile while I'm at work. Growing up I used to take care of my grandmother and other household duties and I just really loved being able to help as much I could. What attracted me to caregiving is my grandmother and my heart. Growing up I always wanted to help people and give as much love to this world I could give. Taking care of her opened my eyes and made me realize this is what I like doing. I like being able to help people when it's needed and being able to have that one on one time. What I enjoy most about caregiving is seeing my residents happy and being able to spend time with them even if it providing the care I'm grateful I get that time with them. I love being able to sit down and talk about what life used to be like back then for them or flip through scrapbooks that they have and talk about how their day went. My achievement that I'm proud of is graduating high school and moving up in the world!
